  • TECHNOLOGY... Danceology!!! Pt.2

    We are deeply appreciative for your generous donation. The MacBook Air has been a great resource for my students in the development of the knowledge for dance marketing. My kids could not believe they were sponsor such a gift.They were very excited and feel privileged to have such a source.

    Booking a computer lab at our school is almost impossible, because all teachers are required to integrate technological learning. The number of available computer are limited. It is quite convenient to be able to now use technology in my class without relying on the school's main sources. We are currently working on a project that requires the students to produce a commercial for their upcoming winter dance concert. They are using apps only available on Apple Computers, such as iMovie, Garageband, and Photo Booth.

    I can't deny, having this MacBook Air has boosted my students' learning tremendously. It has actually made class more enjoyable when it comes dance study. They have gained a clearer understanding of the dance concepts being taught in class. The overall class morale has increased. And it's all THANKS TO YOU!!!”

    We are deeply appreciative for your generous donation. The incline tumbling mat, dehumidifier, ballet barres, and video camcorder have been great resources for my students in the development of the knowledge for dance kinesiology. My kids could not believe they were sponsor such a gift.They were very excited and feel privileged to have such sources.

    My students have already used our new resources in abundance. We've started tumbling lessons to add to their technical abilities for dance. The ballet barres have been quite the investment, and are used DAILY. These students have the honor of being the most aesthetically trained dancers in the school's history, simply because they have barres for training. My quality of training has definitely increased. Also, nothing is more uncomfortable than being in an overcrowded space with improper ventilation. The dehumidifier has helped tremendously by keeping temperatures and humidity low and purifying the air. Lastly, the recorder has been used to capture the essence of my students' creativity.

    I can't deny, having these tablets has boosted my students' learning tremendously. It has actually made class more enjoyable when it comes dance study. The incline wedge and tumble octagon have been a great resource for my students in the development of their tumbling skills for competitive cheerleading. My kids could not believe they were sponsored such a gift.They were very excited and feel privileged to have such a source.

    For years, we've (coaches and cheerleaders) suffered minor injuries due to coaching tumbling without the appropriate tumbling aids. Now that we have these resources, we've yet to experience any injuries! Fingers Crossed, we hope it stays that way!

    We are deeply appreciative for your generous donation. The 16 tablets have been a great resource for my students in the development of the knowledge for dance history and dance research. My kids could not believe they were sponsor such a gift.They were very excited and feel privileged to have such a source.

    Booking a computer lab at our school is almost impossible, because all teachers are required to integrate technological learning. The number of available computer are limited. It is quite convenient to be able to now use technology in my class without relying on the school's sources. We've already completed two major assignments with the tablets. One assignment was a Dance History Scavenger Hunt. I gave the students a worksheet of clues, and they'd search for artifacts of historical dance events. They'd name the event and write down the website where they found the source.The students have also been able to complete online testing in the classroom.

    Thanks so much for your Donation! My students have been overjoyed when we work on our Creative Spark projects. In fact, I have several of my students putting on a recital tomorrow and they feel prepared sImply because they had the free will to use the Bluetooth speakers you've provided for them for their personal practices.

    Creative Spark is our student composition component In our curriculum. WE explore fundamentals in choreography and the students are charged with grouping up and creating choreography based on the principles discussed in class. We use the Bluetooth speakers for Group work.

    Without a doubt, your Donation has fulfilled more than its initial speciation. Not only did it boost my teaching and and the students' learning, It transposed a desire to be more than a dancer by giving some a hope of becoming choreography and performing artist!
