8th grade Math is a Pre- Algebra/ Pre- Geometry course which results in a lot of graphing. In the past we would ask for Wide Ruled Composition Notebooks and glued in graph paper when needed. The problem was that it would become messy and we would run out of graph paper very quickly since we graph so much. It was decided that the best for students' learning is to have Graph Ruled Composition Book for their notes, but they can be a little more expensive and the majority of my students come from families of low means. We also use highlighters on a daily basis to color code vocabulary and important topics. This is extra helpful because the majority of my students are learning English as a Second Language. Help them begin the school year with the best in Math supplies.
