Scoring Goals in Gross Motor!

Through your donations, we've also been able to grow our socio-emotional learning, communication, and language skills, too! Through your generosity, I have been able to work with my students on various social-emotional skills necessary for success both inside and outside of the classroom. After a very trying year and a half, we have been able to establish a sense of trust, comfort, acceptance, and understanding within our classroom community for our new learners. These read alouds have helped them get acclimated with their new setting & gain comfort and confidence in their abilities to express themselves openly.”

Funded Feb 12, 2021Your gracious and thoughtful donations have not only enhanced my curriculum and teaching throughout the school year in my current fully remote setting, but you have helped grow my students' interest and curiosity in reading new books and different genres. Through the funded texts, my students have been able to grow their knowledge on different genres and topics, ask and answer questions, make predictions, and inquire about unfamiliar situations or topics. Their stamina and love for reading has greatly increased since receiving our package.
Through your donations, I have been able to supplement many different texts throughout our reading and writing curriculum in order to further engage my students. I have also been able to read aloud to my students EVERY DAY during our Closing Circle meeting. We have gotten through 3 chapters books since receiving the donations! This is a part of our fully remote school day that my students look forward to ALL THE TIME.
My struggling readers have greatly benefited from these donations as they thoroughly enjoy hearing read alouds and having someone read to them. It has also helped my students with disabilities further engage in conversation and build their comprehension. ALL of my students have greatly benefited from this package and some of my students have even gone and purchased some of the books we have read so that they have them at home!

Funded Oct 6, 2020Thank you so much for your contributions and donations to my classroom! My students have been greatly affected by COVID-19 school closures and through your generosity, I have been able to provide them with activities and supplementary materials that have made learning in a virtual environment effective and worthwhile.
Although we are not currently in a typical classroom setting and my students are full-time remote learners, I have been able to reach them in multiple ways through the funded TeachersPayTeachers gift cards. I have been able to modify, supplement, and adapt lessons and curriculum to fit the needs of my students during this unprecedented time. Having access to materials on TeachersPayTeachers has also allowed for me to reach my students and provide them with equal opportunities for learning although we are not physically together.
Through your donations, I have seen growth in my students and I know that they have seen growth within themselves, which makes everything worthwhile! Seeing their faces light up with pride when they are able to connect to and understand a concept has definitely made this virtual learning journey a positive experience for all!”

Funded Sep 15, 2020Thank you so much for your kind and generous donations to my classroom. This school year, I was assigned to teach a fully-remote class from inside of my school building. Although I did not have students in person with me, I was able to provide cleaning and sanitary supplies to my colleagues and their students who are participating in blended/hybrid learning. I was able to not only supply materials for my own personal workspace but also ensure that others within my building stayed safe and healthy with the funded materials. Through your generosity, my entire school community is able to stay healthy and safe during these uncertain times.
The in person students, along with their families were so happy to see that their classrooms had additions cleaning and sanitizing products. I am so happy that I was able to provide my school community with an extra sense of comfort.
This project also allowed for me to provide my fully remote students with a variety of socio-emotional read alouds to support them through the current changes and trauma they are facing. Since some of the cleaning supplies was out of stock, I was able to replace those items with read alouds and books that I can share with my students virtually in order to support their transition to fully remote learning. They love hearing stories about characters that connect to themselves and how they are feeling. This has helped to support their socio-emotional growth.

Funded Jan 30, 2017Thank you so much for your donations and allowing my students to continue their learning through technology! The technology supported through the iPads that were funded are continuously helping my students to grow in areas of literacy and mathematics as we get ready to finish out our last few months of 1st grade and prepare for 2nd. My students have shown so much more excitement and engagement in furthering their literacy skills by using the iPads and have grown in their confidence levels, as well. I am so excited to see how they are growing, learning, and are open to education through the simple usage of educational games and technology. Their faces light up when it's iPad time! Thank you for making a difference in my students' lives and helping them enjoy their time spent in the classroom!”
