I am blessed to have a classroom full of students who are voracious, higher level readers. Our curriculum requires that we teach via non fiction books and articles for the majority of the school year in order to prepare students for the standardized tests that await them. The simple fact is that I do not have high interest, engaging, CURRENT non-fiction anything in my classroom. I have used Scholastic StoryWorks when I was teaching elsewhere and the kids just loved it! I know, without a doubt, that my students would be so appreciative of this. Thank you in advance.
