Classroom Essentials!
Funded Mar 8, 2022Wow! It feels great to have some supplies that I need to find storage for! Thank you so much for giving us all of these gifts! We have plenty to clean with and to be creative with. We are so grateful! The children loved everything and loved being a part if picking out e erything We need for the classroom. We are especially excited about the calculators and new compasses! We've never had calculators before and our lessons incorporate them often. Our old compasses would never hold the pencil properly and would always move. I'm proud to say we've already made perfect circles with those for a history project! Thank you for everything!!”

Happiness is Paint!

They were so happy to open the boxes and like kids always do, they loved the boxes themselves as well! We thank you from the depths of our souls for your gift to our classroom! We will use the precious supplies to create beautiful, fun masterpieces that the kids will be able to keep with them forever and remember 5th grade! Funded Jan 21, 2022We have thoroughly enjoyed actually having equipment for our little after school basketball teams! Our practices are so fun now! We can tell who is on who's team with the colored pinnies. We have created obstacle courses to dribble around with the cones and number spots. We have had the ability to blow up everyone's basketballs with a pump. It has been really fun and the children have learned a lot so far! Thank you again for supporting us. Our teams are all undefeated!! And all of the kids are having fun. That's what matters the most. We couldn't have made it happen without your support!! Tha”

Funded Jan 18, 2022What an awesome gift you have given us!! The children were so extremely excited to receive the math manipulatives! We already used them multiple times in the classroom lessons we are working on and my visual learners were able to grasp the concepts so much clearer because they were able to actually see them in action.
I opened the box with them and they gasped every time I pulled something out of the box! I wish you could have been there to see their happy faces and hear their cheers of joy!

We feel loved and grateful. We are into the second novel of The Land of Stories already and we all just love it. I read it aloud to the classroom every day. Your gifts have ignited an interest in reading and a love of new authors! My students even asked for books by the same author for Christmas gifts. Kids Need Clothes! Please Send Love!
Funded Aug 28, 2021I can't begin to describe the gratitude and love I have for you for helping this family. Every day, the kids would come to school in the new clothes and a smile. The girls are in a different class and they constantly come to my room to say hello and yell out for me when they see me in the hallway. I think that is there way of saying thank you.
When I brought them to my room to give them the clothes, they were beyond excited and really thankful. I have never seen them smile so big. It was like Christmas to them! They walk around differently, with more comfort, all because of your kindness. Thank you so much!! May you receive all the love and positivity to have given to these children's lives ten-fold into your own life as well!”

S.L.a.W. and Order! Supplies Lovingly Accumulated With Your Help!
Funded May 27, 2021Wow! What a difference this year makes with being organized! We don't have to stop our lessons to look for supplies or even share them because we don't have enough for everyone. Ww do have enough for everyone, thanks to you! We can't thank you enough. We have gotten so many compliments on our desk organizer. And the students love it! It makes them feel in control and more independent. When they need something, they can get up and get it right from the organizer themselves. We are eternally grateful and will use these gifts you've given us for many years to come!”

Funded Apr 14, 2021Reading is constantly happening in our classroom! The children are encouraged to keep books in their desks to read immediately after finishing assignments, while waiting for others to complete work or in any free time that they have. Often, my students would be vying for the couple of "Who Was" books that I have, but since your donation, we have had less arguing and more sharing! Thank you so very much!!
The students loved the new "Who Was" books that you donated and all of the other multi-cultural books as well! Their faces were so excited when we opened the box together and put them on display in the front of the classroom! We had very few in our library. The books you helped us get made our lessons for Black History month and Women's history month so much more impactful and insightful to my students. It was awesome to see them so engaged in the true stories of people's lives who have shaped our nation today. Having the story to go along with the facts made the lesson more memorable.
Each and every one of my students enjoyed the books. Like I said, we put them on display in front of the classroom at the chalkboard. When a student would finish a new book, that you donated, he/she would return it to the chalkboard and it would be instantly scooped up by another student. I believe they all read all the new books you sent and students in my class for years to come will love reading them too. We can't thank you enough!!”

Paint Night in Our Classroom!
Funded Apr 25, 2021I can't thank you enough for the kindness you've extended to my students and I! My students were ecstatic when they saw all of the materials for art class. They had the biggest smiles on their faces and they couldn't believe that people could be so generous towards them.
For our first paint day, we created beautiful owls. The students did amazing! They were all fully engaged and worked hard on their brush techniques to get the perfect feathers. Even students who normally do not prefer art were trying hard to complete their paintings with so much attention to detail. They all did amazing and they were so proud of their creations! The entire school stopped outside our classroom to take a look at the magnificent paintings the students created. We received so many compliments. The students were then able to take the paintings home to remember their experiences in 5th grade forever.
Since we received all of the materials towards then end of the school year, we were only able to complete the Owls this year, but we have plans for many more paint days at school this coming year. I informed the rest of the teachers at my school that we have easels for every student and offered to share at any time. Everyone is grateful and so excited! Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts, for your love and generosity. We will use these tools for years and years to come!!”
