• Clean Hands and a Clean Environment

  Thank you for donating to my class project. With 30 students in one classroom, germs are inevitable. With the help of your donation, we are able to clean our desks and sanitize on a regular basis. The tissues are definitely coming in handy.

  Now that the weather is changing, sniffles are coming more often. We have enough tissues to hopefully get us through the rest of the year. Something so simple, means so much for my class and me.

• Current Events for Current Scholars

  Thank you so very much for your generous donation. The students absolutely love our Scholastic News time in class. They look forward to finding out about the past, present, and even the future.

  So far their favorite issue has been about the Titanic. They were in awe with everything that transpired. We ended up sending an extra week discovering new facts about it. Several weeks after we finished the issue, a Titanic story came up in our ELA curriculum. To say the students were so excited is an understatement.

• You Are Never Too Old To Play

  It is often taken for granted to have dolls that look like you. My class has so many cultures, it truly looks like its own melting pot. When I showed the dolls to the class, both boys and girls were beyond excited.

  Each day, the dolls are taken on adventures. The students nurture them, hug them, take them shopping, and often to Disney haha. It warms my heart that your donation will be loved for years to come.

• Beginning of a Bright Reading Future.

  Thank you so much for your generous donation. My struggling readers and ENL students were so thrilled to finally be able to play reading games like their peers. The hands on learning has proven to be very successful. The students just took their middle of the year reading assessment and each and every one of my struggling students showed growth. I truly believe that the games motivated them to learn their sight words.

  The fishing game is a class favorite. We change up the way to play so they can continue to build skills with it. The students love to "go fishing" for new sight words and to make sentences. We are very grateful.”

• Hands on Learning for All

  Thank you so much for helping our classroom achieve a higher level of hands on learning. The Versatiles are something that each student looks forward to each day during our small group learning. They love the self check aspect and seeing the cool patterns that their correct answers make. With your donation, each third grader is allowed to work at their level and their own pace. • Healthy Habits for All

  Thank you so much for the generous donation to help keep our classroom clean and sanitized.

  The Dial Soap is available in all teacher bathrooms as well as in our classroom wink. The Lysol wipes are used to clean student desks daily. The Brawny paper-towels are used for little or big spills!!! The broom comes in handy everyday, especially after breakfast!!!!!

• Current Events in the Classroom

  Thank you so very much for helping us be able to subscribe to Time For Kids Magazine. Each week the students look forward to finding out what is going on around the world. Not only is it interesting but it helps build reading fluency. The students continue to be engaged during the lessons and actively participate each week. A favorite was the 2021 year in review.

  We are looking forward to seeing what Time For Kids has in store for 2022. The students take ownership on having their own magazine to take home and share with their families. Thank you again.”

• Back in the Saddle Again

  By your generous donations, we are able to have flexible seating options for all of our students. The standing desks have become a favorite for students that are tired. They are able to stand up and be comfortable while continuing to learn and participate actively in all lessons.

  Thank you so much for helping this Covid crazy classroom world become a little less crazy. Our students look forward to choosing their flexible seating throughout the day. • Do You Hear What I Hear?

  You have no idea how the headphones have helped our class. We are able to differentiate all instruction by having 28 students in one classroom and they are all able to go on different apps at the same time. If we have a group being polled for extra reading support, they are able to stay in the safety of their own desk while receiving direct instruction with another teacher. Through your generosity you have made this crazy Covid classroom worlds one step easier. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.”

• Chica Chica Boom Boom...A Palm Tree for My Classroom

  I cannot believe that my classroom is getting its very own palm tree..... I am so humbled beyond belief. I had actually thought this project was not going to happen so I never said anything to my students but when this arrives they are going to think they won the lottery.
