With a classroom set of xylophones, my students will be able to learn the many elements and skills pertaining to music including: Pitch, ear training, sight reading, performance and nearly anything that could be taught in music. For the first time all year, they will have the opportunity to touch and use an instrument that can easily be sanitized between uses, keeping everyone safe while the pandemic is still occurring. These children NEED to gain a passion outside of technology and I believe that by giving them the opportunity to create something as special as music, they will become more cultured and gain the confidence to do great things in all aspects of life.
