My students are Special needs students who have multiple disabilities. They walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. They are a group of children who work hard at being an inspiration to themselves and to others. They enjoy incorporating what they have learned into real life experiences. They are very enthusiastic about learning! There are many outside factors that they cannot control that can affect their day. They each have their own learning needs which makes it very important for me to provide my students with differentiated instruction, a safe environment as well as an education that is based around whole brain learning. We are a part of an elementary school in Columbus, Ohio which is highest poverty. Our students do not have the resources at home to succeed in this world, so it is my job to help them learn these skills at school!
