  I can't begin to thank you enough for the generosity in funding my project for a Flocabulary subscription! My class greatly appreciates the kindness that you have demonstrated in a difficult time.

  We use Flocabulary all the time in my class because the resources are appealing to my fourth graders. The rapping and songs that teach math, ELA, and science concepts help my students internalize concepts that are taught in the classroom. Our absolute favorite part of Flocabulary is the Week in Rap, where we can discuss current events and relate what we are learning to our world.

• Teacher Transporter and Art Supplies

  Thank you so much for your generous donations. Due to your generosity, my classroom is filled with colorful art projects. In addition, it has been easier navigating throughout the room to answer student questions quickly.

  When we opened the large box with the art supplies, my students exploded with excitement! They love hands-on learning and were thrilled to see all of the new supplies. The teacher transporter serves as both a mode of transportation for the teacher, but a reward for positive student behavior. Kids have the opportunity to roll around and share writing pieces, which increases their motivation.

• Teacher Transporter and Giant Notebook Whiteboard

  Funded May 31, 2021

  Thank you so much for your generosity. Because of your donations, my students have better access to quality instruction and visual models in the classroom.

  They were so excited to see the giant whiteboard notebook paper. With this use of this tool, students have been able to efficiently use their notebook space, which ultimately saves paper.

  What my students love even more than the whiteboard notebook paper is the "teacher transporter"! Not only am I able to easily navigate around the classroom on my rolling stool, another layer of entertainment is provided in our day. Students love pushing me from place to place on the stool. What's more is that they can take turns sitting on the stool when working one on one with me at my desk.

  Thank you so much for the Flocabulary subscription. With this resource, my students can view entertaining and engaging academic videos that are made right here in their own city! My class consists of students with special needs, meaning that they are more apt to learn visually. They love singing along with the academic videos. I have even found them singing the songs on their own! My students especially loves the Week in Rap videos because it dives into the current events of the week. We have in-depth conversation about each of the news stories, making my students more well-rounded and knowledgeable of the world around them. We really appreciate your generosity and support!”

• Air Purifier with UV Light Sanitizer for the Classroom

  Thank you so much for your generous donation of an Air Purifier. Because of your generous support, my students can learn in a safe environment. We use the purifier every day during our in-person learning, which has helped greatly during this difficult time.

  My students were shocked when they saw the amazing device! They were eager to learn how the purifier worked and how if would keep us safe from germs. They even chose the perfect spot to place it in our classroom. Thank you so much! Learning amidst a pandemic was made a little easier!”

  Thank you so much for supporting the students in my classroom! We have enjoyed adding visual and auditory learning to our daily lessons. The kids love watching the learning videos and singing along with the raps. Using these educational videos have enhanced my students' ability to retain skills and steps to certain math concepts, like long division. We especially love listening to the Week in Rap! With this resource, my children can learn about current events, which often lead to interesting debates and discussions. We appreciate your generosity, kindness, and devotion to bettering the education of students in the Bronx!”
