• Flexible Seating for Engaged Learning!

  Thank you so much for your generosity and dedication to public education. My class loves our new chairs and it makes learning so much more exciting! With your support, we can create personal learning spaces and boundaries in different places around our classroom. It is so difficult to remain in a traditional desk and chair throughout the school day, especially in a special education setting. Our new flexible seating chairs allow small groups, partnerships, and independent work to happen in various spots in our classroom. We really appreciate your kindness!”

• Fuel the Brain- Snacks for the Classroom!

  Wow! How can I begin to thank you for your generosity? Food insecurity is an unfortunate part of life that many of my students deal with. With your donation, I was able to purchase snacks to last a long time, giving my students the comfort of knowing that there will be something delicious for them at school if they get hungry. Your kind donation filled a snack bin that is used for students' breakfast if they arrive after school breakfast ends, as well as a source of tasty treats for after our weekly swim lessons. • Motivational Incentives!

  Thank you so much for the amazing motivational incentives! My students were beyond excited when they opened the box and discovered the many treasures inside. We took the time to examine each prize before it was carefully placed in the prize box.

  School can be challenging, especially for students with additional academic and social challenges. • Bookworms in the Making!

  I cannot describe how happy my class is with their new library! They absolutely love having books that are an appropriate level for them. My students finally have books they are able to enjoy reading independently, with another classmate, or with an adult. My students have especially enjoyed finding the rhyming books because it is something we are currently focusing on during small group reading.

  You really made a significant difference in not only my day-to-day teaching, but also in the confidence of each and every one of my students. Reading has historically been frustrating for my kids, but now their confidence is growing because they can apply learned reading skills into their independent reading time. Thank you so much!”

• Building a Successful Classroom

  The laminator in this project is used almost on a daily basis! I now have the ability to laminate center games and student resources to use year after year. More specifically, I was able to laminate individual wall schedules for my students, which allow kids to understand the structure and routines of their day.

  It is with great admiration that I am writing this thank you letter. This was one of the most exciting Donors Choose projects that my kids have received so far this school year. They LOVE having different seating options in the classroom. It not only creates a more comfortable learning enviornment, but it also gives them choice and makes them feel like they are truly a part of the classroom.
