Safety First
Funded Sep 30, 2020I want to express my gratitude to everyone that contributed to this project. I am truly grateful that you all were able to open your hearts to help us during this pandemic. You all have made it possible for my students to learn in a safe environment by providing us with safety mask, sanitizer, and alcohol to clean our areas with. Our students and parents didn't have to worry about not having or not being able to provide masks because we were blessed to have enough for the school year. Our students express their gratitude for the materials on a daily basis and I will always tell them that there are people in this world with kind hearts to are always willing to lend a helping hand.”
With gratitude,

Funded Sep 20, 2020First and foremost I would like to thank each and every one of you for helping my students with the technology they need to succeed in our classroom. I greatly appreciate all of your kindness and efforts in assisting with this project.
My students are able to access information through research using our new devices. They are also now able to use google classroom to submit assignments to reduce the risk of passing the possibility of the virus through paper contact. My students are also able to enjoy different educational websites that focus on language arts and math.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Layne
Let’ Explore the World Together
Funded Aug 22, 2018In my classroom, when my students are able to use the chrome books they become very excited. My students enjoy the fact that they are able to research different topics being discussed in class and also finishing up assignments that were given by another teacher. They also get a real kick out of attending virtual lessons, which teaches them a sense of responsibility. Students tend to appreciate what they are learning more if they actually have to do the research. It gives them a sense of pride.
My students gained a sense of responsibility and pride with the use of the chrome books. When given an assignment, they are eager to do the research and bring that information back to their groups or present it in front of the class. In a way they themselves feel like teachers when they get the opportunity to teach their fellow peers something new.
With the assistance of the technology in the classroom, some of my students are able to complete their assignments in a timely fashion and are able to increase their attention span. Most of my students are visual learners so being able to upload some of their assignments onto the chrome books with visual attachments have increased their eagerness, and success rate for learning.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Layne
