  • Work Hard, Play Hard!

    This project has helped me speak to my students in a structured play form. The students are having fun with the activity while I am asking them questions to get them to open up to me. Once they see the activity/discussion balls and cubes they are immediately excited and ready to play with them.

    This is an amazing alternative to simply sitting them down and asking them questions. Thank you to everyone who was able to make this happen for my students. We have been speaking about how we are feeling and they are able to understand and articulate their feelings better!”

  • Supplies Supplies To Brighten Our Eyes

    Thank you so much for thinking of my students this summer. The fact that their education and level of comfort-ability means so much to you makes our hearts explode with happiness and love. It truly takes a village to raise a child. You have taught my students that there are kind and loving people all over the country who want nothing more than to see them succeed. This school year we will be blessed with supplies that will be used by my amazing students to explore education in a fun and exciting way.   • Students Making The World A Better Place!

    Though it has been tough going on this journey of remote learning with the students, your contribution has made it that much easier for them! We have given books and supplies to students who are in need.

    Parents of these students have contacted me letting me know that their children are finding joy in reading, coloring, and writing. These students now have a way to relieve anxiety in between their classes online. A parent sent me pictures of her student reading during a zoom session.

    We also received PPE equipment that we are giving out as parents request it in this time. It is important to stay safe. Thank you for continuing to support our school!”

Our project is asking for necessary office supplies to use to make my new office welcoming to our students. We have included items such as snack bars, and water. Many of the students come to school late because they are coming from housing far away from the school. These bars and waters can be available when the students are in my office with me. Also included is a 3-tier organizer to keep the snacks and office papers in. Also included is a desk chair, organizational desk supplies such as a stapler, organizational desk equipment, and a welcome sign to properly welcome the students and their families to this safe space.
