Medals for Math Wizards!
Funded Apr 6, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation toward purchasing math medals for our school. This year, we were able to recognize students who worked hard in math and achieved results that exceeded benchmark expectations. It was also the first year since COVID that we could host a formal awards ceremony in front of parents.
Your donation allowed us to honor not only the students but also the parents, whose support has been invaluable. It gave our students a well-deserved sense of pride in their accomplishments. Thank you for making this possible and for bringing smiles to all of our school's stakeholders.
We sincerely appreciate your generosity once again.”

This classroom project was brought to life by LOFT.Saving Theater Arts! Bringing Back Performances from the COVID-19 Era
Funded Dec 16, 2022We are in the midst of practicing and preparing for our "Name That Internal Organ! Hall of Fame" play. My students have been hard at work rehearsing their lines and working with our new sound system and wireless microphones, so they can be pro's when it comes to show time! Your donation towards our PA system has already come in handy.
We have also used the PA system at our Fun Friday's out on the playground, and with the Bluetooth capabilities supervision staff can supervise the yard and play music from anywhere on the yard. The students absolutely love a good dance party.
This PA system is so lightweight and mobile that it is easy to transport and set up. When we have morning assemblies on the yard, everyone can clearly hear what's being announced. The PA set up and clean up time has been cut in half. Thank you once again for helping our school be heard and bringing back live theater back to our auditorium.”

Chemical Engineers Tackling Plastic Pollution Problems!
Funded Dec 16, 2022Thank you for your generous donation towards our Engineering kit. We are currently on the second lesson where students will be testing variables to see what plant based product will be the best for creating a sturdy and environmentally friendly garbage bag. My students are learning about polymers and chemistry in a fun and hands-on way. I am so thankful for your donation. Our current science program is not as hands on and friendly as the Engineering in Education kit that you donated towards. Your donation will impact many years of classrooms to come. A million thanks for investing in twenty-first century critical thinking.”

Multiculturalism, History, and Art Make a Happy Well-Rounded Classroom
Funded Dec 16, 2022Your generous donation has made quite the impact! Students have created self portraits this year in art and had the exact skin color they needed to match their unique and beautiful selves. It's such a nice option to be able to allow self expression in their art. Student's no longer have to use orange and color lightly, or brown and color light or dark to portray people of color. My classroom is so diverse and now we can celebrate it in accurate color.
The Teacher Pay Teacher gift card has already come in handy allowing me to purchase 6th grade World History lessons on Ancient Egyptians, the Roman Empire, and Greek Civilization. I've also been able to purchase a much needed math curriculum.
Your donation has been very personal to the students as it allows for us to embrace diversity! Thank you once again.”

The Gifted and Talented Need Challenging Opportunites for Growth!
Funded Dec 31, 2021Thank you for helping fund this project. I teach a fantastic group of fifth graders who are critical thinkers. Many of my students are identified as gifted learners and thrive when giving challenging tasks that require them to think. These logic game boards and activities are used during our reading rotations.
My students love playing games, so why not make them meaningful and purposeful! This project also prepares my students for the GATE test which is a series of logic patterns they must identify. I have many resources that help prepare the students for this exam, so that they are not so nervous when taking it. Thanks again for funding this project and believing in gifted and talented students.”

Lights, Camera, Action! Let's Put on Some Theaterics!
Funded Jan 4, 2022Thank you for funding my project of bringing back theater in the classroom. These last years have been tricky to put on performances due to covid, but we are slowly bringing things back to reality. You funded the purchase of 10 screenplays that I intend on doing with my classroom and school yearly. This year we put on the American Beginnings Historical Play and recorded it on youtube and shared it for the whole school to watch because there were still many restrictions in place. Next year, we will bring on the full Drama for each and every class to see.
There is no better feeling than seeing your students bring a role to life and work so hard to memorize. Every single student brings the energy needed to rock their roles. I also love the aspect of parent participation and helping with producing, set design, and helping with audio visuals. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for funding this project that will live on for many years to come at our school site.”

Liftoff: Engineering Rockets and Rovers
Funded Nov 10, 2021Thank you for funding this Engineering Project! It was such a fun experience for my classroom to learn about space and what it takes to launch rockets and rovers into our solar system. This tied in perfectly to our science unit where students were learning about the solar system and planets like Mars that NASA sends Rovers to.
My students had such a fun time learning about projectiles, angles, and what it takes to launch a "rocket" to a destination with precision to land on its destination. You can tell by the smiles in their pictures about how engaging this project was. By funding this project, you encourage students to think outside of the box when designing solutions to problems. It also encourages collaboration and communication. A million thanks for your support.”

Funded Nov 10, 2021Your donation impacted my classroom in a positive manner. Each of my students were given a mouse to attach to their chrome books. This made it so much more easier for students to control their computers during coding, creating using the animator tool, and just navivating through their system. I was also alble to print all thir writing throughout the year and create books with their work samples to go home for Open House.
The Teachers pay Teachers gift cards were the most beneficial because it allowed me to purchase fun and interactive projects or supplements for my instruction. I was able to teach to the standards in a way that was fun for the students. As a new teacher to 5th grade, it really helped me to design great lessons! Thank you once again.”

This classroom project was brought to life by #TeachHealthy with Nature Made.Learning About Life....with Life Science!
Funded May 28, 2021A million thanks for funding out project, My students now have a fish take where we can care for our fish and aquatic plants from our enviornments and ecosystems unit in a regulated tank. My students now continue to observe and track the progress of their fish.
I love the aquarium because it brings a peaceful element to the classroom, and the students frequently like to go and observe our fish and come up with new observations.
The replica human body organs allow the students to see the parts of the human body in a 3d and interactive way. They can see the inner parts within the system and its really brought a wholistic approach to learning about the organs. Thank you once again for your contribution to my classroom.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Chevron.Awareness Is the Way to Acceptance!
Funded May 28, 2021Thank you for helping bring diversity into our weekly literature! I teach at one of the most diverse schools in my school district. In my classroom alone, I have students from over 8 ethnic backgrounds. All students love to feel accepted and appreciated.
Through the purchase of the read aloud and Scholastic News, My students are exposed to multicultural stories that represent the make up of their classroom. They are exposed to stories that they probably would not hear otherwise.
I love bringing quality literature to life with my students through read aloud, and it makes such a difference when each student has their own copy in their hand to follow along to and refer back to while they are reading. Thank you once again for funding this project and making it a possibility.”
