Thank you for supporting this project! Having up-to-date technology has been a crucial part of teaching during the pandemic. Your contribution made a huge impact on both my students' educational experience and my professional development as an educator.
Whether it's playing a math Kahoot game, or designing an investigation through an online simulation, my kids love to learn in fun ways. With the laptop, I am able to easily transition back and forth from teaching remote classes at home and in-person classes on campus to facilitate interactive lessons. Through this challenging year, your support has given me countless opportunities to grow, stay connected with my class, and keep them engaged.

I am requesting a laptop computer to provide the best virtual learning experience for my middle school students. This computer will be used to hold zoom meetings and engage students in breakout rooms and online activities. To ensure that my students have various experiences, I will use the computer to attend professional development webinars and learn new technologies and teaching methods to help facilitate learning. I will communicate with my colleagues and practice the strategies learned in my Zoom classes. As a teacher, I am constantly looking to improve my practices and learning new things so I can share with my students. Students will benefit from the computer because they will have access to any learning materials such as PDFs, videos, PowerPoints, and more. This will improve their achievement by providing access to different types of resources that can be revisited anytime they need it. This project will let me build strong connections with my students and their families. Since the computer is portable, I will be able to check in with students and families, provide resources and feedback, and differentiate instruction to meet my students needs from anywhere.
