Unleash the Fun: Dog Man Books
Funded Oct 18, 2024They love the dogman and cat kid books! I'm the beginning, I displayed them on my bookshelf, someone loved them so much, 2 of them were book-napped and unfortunately, they've yet to be returned. I put the books in a safe place and bring them out for enrichment or when students finish their assignments
Using them as a reward shows how much they want to read dogman! They are learning that reading is a leisurely hobby and not a chore. These graphics novels are developing various reading skills such as sequencing, plot, character dialogue, infercing, semantics, punctuation points., and so forth..
Thank you for creating a love for reading! Wert ate making so much growth in reading and dogman/catfish ate playing a vital role!”

Funded Oct 18, 2024Thanks so much for your support! With temps at 15°F, we've had a lot of indoor recess, and the Play-Doh and Legos have been a huge hit. The kids go straight for them; some team up to build Lego towers and little cities, while others get creative with Play-Doh, making words, shapes, and even pretend food. It's also been great for those who need a little break to keep their hands busy. The Play-Doh is not just for fun; we use it to shape high-frequency words during literacy time, helping students learn in a hands-on, engaging way.
We really appreciate your generosity; it's made indoor recess and learning way more fun!”

Sharp Pencils for a Sharp Mind!
Funded Oct 18, 2024We always have sharp pencils in the classroom now! No more excuses like, "I don't have a sharp pencil." The kids love feeding pencils to the "monster" sharpeners, complete with googly eyes! It's a fun incentive, and they actually enjoy sharpening pencils.
Each group has a team leader responsible for using the quiet sharpener, which helps maintain focus and keeps kids from running back and forth. The rules are clear: only team leaders can use the sharpeners. It's calm, organized, and focused in the classroom instead of the loud pencil sharpener!!”

Phonics Fun and Fidget Frenzy: Pop, Pop, Pop, Popcorn Read!
Funded Oct 18, 2024The Phonics Pop-Its are awesome! My students love "playing" with them while learning, and they're a huge help, especially for kids who need something hands-on and tangible. They're scaffolded by grade level, which is perfect for my first-grade class since I've got readers from pre-primary all the way up to fifth grade.
The Pop-Its include CVC words and high-frequency flashcards that align perfectly with our Science of Reading and Amplify CKLA curriculum. I use them in small groups, interventions, and even independently. I also appreciate how they focus on short, crisp sounds, something I'm always emphasizing with my students. These have been a game-changer; thank you so much for making them available!”

Funded Sep 26, 2024Thank you so much for funding our Batman Phonics project! The kids are absolutely loving it, and it's amazing to see them learning in such a fun and tangible way. Pop-its are all the rage right now, and they're a fantastic tool for my students, especially those who benefit from kinesthetic and visual learning.
The color-coded packs make it so easy for students to work independently at their own reading level, ranging from Pre-K to 3rd grade which my students range based on dibels benchmark testing. For example, I have four students who are working on mastering letter names and sounds, while others are practicing high-frequency sight words.
I was excited to see that the cards align with our intervention program, UFLI! The letters with squares underneath represent their regular sounds, while those with hearts indicate irregular sounds (we call them "heart words"). It's been such a helpful and engaging resource for my students. Some even mentioned,"Hey, it's like UFLI!"
Thanks again for making this possible. You're truly making a difference in their learning journey!”

Funded Aug 4, 2023With the new resources provided, our classroom has been transformed into a nurturing and engaging space. The beautiful seating circles rug and individual spots have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere where my students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. The Owl Stars Incentive Pad and scented stickers have become powerful tools of positive reinforcement, boosting their self-confidence and enhancing their motivation to participate actively in class activities. It's heartwarming to see their faces light up with joy and excitement when they receive these incentives, encouraging them to strive for excellence.
The Polka Dots Magnetic Labels and Dry Erase Pockets have empowered my students to stay organized and responsible. They have learned valuable skills in keeping their materials in order, fostering a sense of independence and responsibility. These simple supplies have had a profound impact on their daily routines, enabling them to focus on their studies with a clear and organized workspace.he three-tier rolling cart system has been instrumental in helping my students take on responsibilities and develop essential leadership skills. They have learned the importance of teamwork and collaboration, working together to organize materials and distribute resources efficiently. This hands-on experience has not only enhanced their organizational skills but has also instilled a sense of pride and accomplishment in them.”
