These materials will support my kindergarteners learning by providing a number of creative learning experiences in our new classroom. Children learn by observing, listening, exploring, and experimenting. My hope is to provide activities in which my students can engage with materials that support a variety of learning styles in a meaningful way. Art supplies will provide opportunities for experimentation and strengthening fine motor skills. The books will support early reading skills, spark interest and imagination. The classroom center manipulatives, such as ice cream cone counters, and Vet Store, provide opportunities for peer interactions and support math, language, science, social studies, and social emotional learning.
