Funded Dec 30, 2023I hope this message finds you well and filled with joy!
I wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your incredibly generous donation to our Brooklyn, NY, Middle Schoolers. Your support has not only lightened the financial burden on our school but has also made a direct and significant impact on our students' education, particularly in our science classes, where reading is fundamental to understanding complex concepts.
Thanks to your kindness, our students can access essential school supplies to enhance their learning experience. Your donation has not only lightened our school's financial burden but also ignited a spark of enthusiasm for learning within our students.
Your generosity has empowered our students to dive deeper into their studies, explore new ideas, and confidently embrace science's wonders. Every pencil, notebook, and textbook you provide has become a valuable tool in their educational journey.
Your kindness has touched the lives of our students in ways beyond measure, and for that, we are profoundly grateful. Your support not only enriches our school but also inspires hope and positivity within our entire community.
On behalf of our entire school, faculty, and most importantly, our students, please accept our heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support. Your generosity has truly made a difference, and we are forever grateful for your kindness.

Ms. K's Classroom Supplies
Funded Feb 2, 2024THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR CLASS! You have no idea how your additions to our classroom helped our scholars, and staff members who visited our class were able to help and work with them as well.
With our 6th graders, we could purchase basic circuit-building kits. Scholars learned about energy and how we use electrical power daily. We pondered the question, "How do we light a light bulb?". With these kits, scholars were able to build series and parallel circuits. They were given a hands-on project that took them one week to ensure they knew what happens when we turn on a switch to light a light bulb.
With the modeling clay and Play-Doh, 7th-grade scholars could create 3-D models of the various types of cells they were learning about. These types of cells included animal, plant, prokaryotic, virus, and bacteria cells. This was a 2-week project where scholars could use their knowledge of Cell Theory and how they make up life around us to create a diorama and show what they knew!
