• Music and a Smile at Morning Line Up

  Thank you so much for helping me bring this project to life. It makes such a big difference playing music for my students in the morning. It makes filling out their screener and waiting for the start time a little more bearable.

  The plan is to play different music from different cultures. Our students are from so many different countries that they would enjoy listening to music from their home country. It will also start a discussion about their different cultures.

  When students start talking about their similarities and differences then they will learn to be understanding and patient towards their peers' behaviors.

  Putting a smile on my students' faces will be a bonus. I appreciate the support!”

• Eco Friendly Printing in the Classroom

  With the risk of Covid upon us, it is recommended not to share papers. The visual and hands-on learners need to be able to use paper and write notes and steps needed to make their learning journey a little more manageable.

  This printer is such a big step in that direction. Having the printer available for them to print worksheets, handouts, and any other material needed for their class will make their learning journey so much easier. The fact that it is wireless is a big plus. They can be on their own laptop and print without the need to be connected through a wire or having to download a software first.

• Supplies, Support, Success—Version 1

  Thank you so much for helping fund this amazing project.

  My students and I are very happy to have these supplies. The copy papers are available to use for their class projects. I also used these colorful papers to print out behavior cards. The papers at least bring some brightness in students' day while they try to manage their behaviors in class.

  I use the tape to post stuff on my office wall to make it a welcoming environment for my students.

  Students visit my office for a multitude of reasons. If I make their school life easier by handing them some basic office supplies then it's the least I can do. Thank you for helping me reach this goal.”

• Lunch Time Entertainment

  Health and wellness are the most important tools our students need while readjusting!

  My students were so happy to be able to have a game to play while eating lunch in the auditorium. School is so different now with social distancing requirements and eating lunch in the auditorium is not the greatest environment, so having a game to play has put a smile on their faces. They are now able to spread out and play uno, connect four, the other games and have something fun to do once they finish eating their lunch. I'm looking forward to playing Chinese Checkers with my students during our counseling sessions.

Once they have a snack, students will be more willing to feed their brain with any topic they have to learn. All of this is possible because of wonderful people like you all.

  Thanks to the generosity of all of you, my students now have a snack anytime they need one while they are in the school building and they are loving it. They were so happy to see all of the delicious treats and were happy to be able to have a snack while learning!"”

  Students drop by my office all the time to ask for a snack. Sometimes, they miss dinner or breakfast because they have no food available at home. Since, I have a large number of my students in temporary housing, a snack is needed in a classroom or office.

  Having a snack ready at any time during the day helps students get through that day. A snack after gym class is very much appreciated by all students.

• Fresh and Clean as a Daisy!

  Thank you so much for helping get such great gym after care for my students.

  Many of my students are in temporary housing and their guardians can't afford basic supplies. Having changes of underwear, pads available to the girls makes their gym experience a more enjoyable experience.

  These accidents happen very often in middle school. Having these supplies available to the female population helps relieve the stress of the situation.

  Of course, the snacks will benefit any student who need to replenish their energy after gym.

• So Fresh, So Clean

  The pandemic has changed school so much and some of my students requested some basic supplies such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soap so they can attend school without being self-conscious about their body odor.

  Due to the pandemic, a lot of my students are living in temporary housing and these basic supplies are like a treasure to them.

  Because of amazing donors like you, I'm able to keep my students clean and smelling fresh which is a big boost to their self-confidence.”

• Germs and Stress No More!

  Thank you so much for supporting this project!

  The pandemic has changed school so much and my students requested gloves to keep their hands warm as they learn. Being cold is very uncomfortable and these gloves will help keep them warm.

  Students have to line up outside to fill out their health screeners in the morning. Since winter is upon us, they will benefit from having the gloves to keep them warm while filling out the paperwork. The gloves can also be used with electronics which is useful for the students who use their technology to do the paperwork.

  The soap will be used for my students to wash their hands anytime they feel they need it!

  Because of amazing donors like you, I'm able to keep my students warm at morning line up and reduce their anxiety about germs during the school day.”
