• Tables to Go the Distance!

  We have been able to utilize these resources a lot so far this year! By having extra tables, we are able to create small group work spaces, assigned tables for morning work time, and created more spaces for table centers during center time.

• Chairs of Every Size!

  Thank you so much for your donations to this project and supporting our classroom! Having new chairs was extremely helpful to start of the year! We started the year with over 20 students, but chairs from this project was able to accommodate everyone to have a seat until the classroom's roster numbers were evened out.

  Now that we are at our 20, having different chair options for students to use for table centers and classwork has been wonderful! Allowing different types of chairs, chair heights, and sizes gives students options and allows us to accommodate student needs.

• Classroom Resources on the Go

  Thank you for your support to this project and our classroom! In a classroom, there's a lot of different learning styles and resources needed to check for student understanding of learning topics and measuring learning goals. Having resources ready to go from TeachersPayTeachers is an enormous help to cover these needs.

  If I'm unable to create my own resources, using the TPT gift cards in this project allows me to quickly find resources I need for students that can be used for baseline testing, artifacts for student progress portfolios, and lets me create packets for each student's learning goals/needs that they can take home with them to continue practicing with family and during school breaks.”

• Celebrating the End of the Year in Color!

  Thank you so much for helping us create our end of the year class t-shirts and graduation shirts! The students absolutely loved the process of getting to scrunch up their shirts, picking out colors, dyeing them, and then seeing their work once the shirts were ready to rinse and dry. They were so proud of their shirts and received a LOT of compliments on them, too! Some classes even decided to create their own tie-dye shirt projects too!

• Making a Wall of Reading and Achievement Memories!

  Thank you so much for your donation to this school-wide project and supporting our school!

  This project was one of several in creating a school-wide reading and relaxation space and an Inchy Book Vending machine to motivate students, recognize student achievements and acts of service, and encourage reading and literacy among all students at our school.

  This project will further celebrate and encourage students by allowing students to take a photo and post it on the wall around our Inchy and school-community reading space.

  We can't wait to fill the entire wall with photos of celebrating student achievement and literacy!”

• Adaptable Cutting Tools to Work on Fine Motor at School!

  Thank you so much for your donations to this project for our classroom! Prior to this project, our classroom had a rotation of 6 pairs of scissors for student use - while it was a great opportunity to learn patience and share, having enough pairs for every student will allow students to work on more cutting projects and allow us to have art projects where cutting can be used!

  It has only been day 2 of having these materials, but they've already had a huge impact on the class! Not only does every student have an opportunity to use them without waiting, but the different adaptable scissors have had an even greater effect! Several students who struggle with fine motor skills and regular children's scissors all year and needed assistance with cutting have been using the adaptable scissors. For the first time all year, these students were able to complete a fine motor cutting worksheet ALL ON THEIR OWN because they were able to finally have a tool they could confidently use.

  We are extremely grateful for the support for this project and the impact it has already made. I cannot wait to see how much these will help moving forward and with future students too!”

• Playing Pretend: Taking Care of Animal Friends

• Making Visuals Make the Cut

  Thank you for your donations to this project and supporting our classroom! We have began using the Sizzix to make visuals for the classroom - currently it's busiest use has been creating word wall cards students use in our literacy centers and creating "Inchy Token Cards" for our school's new Inchy Book Vending machine.

  This has been a huge help in creating visuals for the classroom (and outside of the classroom!) and a big time saver.

• Celebrating Reading with Books and a Reading Area!

  Thank you so much for your donations and support to our school wide project! This was one of a few created to bring an Inchy Book Machine to our school and a school-community wide reading and relaxing area. This week we held our "unveiling" of the Inchy and reading area and it was a huge success! Students were already excited watching Inchy delivered and as the furniture for the reading area was built, but now that it's complete, students have already began putting it to great use! We hope that students will continue to use the area and use Inchy and the reading area as a positive reinforcement to celebrate student achievements and acts of service.”

• Rewarding Good Behavior with Good Books!

  We are so excited to share the news that our Inchy will be up and running next week! There is already a huge buzz of excitement already among the students about Inchy and each phase of the Inchy machine and community reading area project being built around it. We have an exciting "kick off" and ribbon cutting event planned next week with students that we will share photos of!
