Thank you for taking the time to donate to my project. This project was fun to present to my students because it was hands-on and allowed them to express themselves through art. They had such an amazing time using the dot markers to create and express their feelings. They enjoyed using the different colors you provided for them to explore. Students were highly motivated to participate in art projects that offered the opportunity to use the dot markers. The happiness on their faces was such a heart warming experience. • Preschool Distance Learning Hands-On

    Funded May 14, 2020

Thank you so much for providing engaging materials for my students during these challenging times. It has been such a motivating factor for parents and students to receive materials that are fun and can be used at home. Due to the age of my students, parent participation is vital, the materials you provided made a difference. Parents felt more confident when working with their children during our small groups video meetings and continued to reinforce activitIes long after our school day! The excitement in my students faces when they were actively participating using hands-on materials were the most inspiring moments. Thank you so much for providing color ink and laminating sheets to support my students at home. • My Imagination Leads to Entrepreneurship

    Funded Dec 3, 2019

Thank you for providing opportunities for my students to learn about entrepreneurship through play. The materials that you contributed to have made such a great impact on my students.

When they walked in and saw the lemonade stand, their faces just lit up. They could not wait to explore all the new materials. The ice cream shop was up and running in no time. It was amazing seeing them take on roles that they have observed out in their community.

My students were able to learn about selling lemonade and being a cashier at the market. We were able to teach them so many skills in such a short amount of time. My students were extremely motivated to express themselves. They were interested in counting the money when they were the cashier. They were inventive and engaged.

Thank you for your generosity and taking the time to donate to my project. This has been an extremely successful project for my students. It would not have been possible without you!”

  • Keeping Our Art Dry and Organized

    Funded Sep 25, 2019

Thank you for your generosity. My students have been so elated with their new materials! Sharing the amazing news and unpacking the supplies were the most exciting moments thus far. The drying rack has been such a great addition to our classroom and has impacted students independence greatly. I labeled each rack with students name to foster ownership and independence. Students are also learning to recognize their name and this is a perfect opportunity to practice. Everyday they store their beautiful artwork by identifying their name and storing it in their assigned slot. The float and find bubbles have been such a fun way for students to learn to identify their letters of the alphabet. Everyday we have a center for letter identification in which they are able to use nets and "catch" their bubble letters. Students are always excited about participating in this activity. The pocket charts have served as center free choice displays. Students are able to choose from three different activities and place their name in the pocket chart of the activity they choose. The daily schedule chart has been a great way for students to track our activities throughout the day. Students feel safe knowing what activity is coming next. Thank you for helping me foster independence, responsibility, ownership, and safety in my classroom.”
