  • Coffee Cart for Life Skills!

    Funded Mar 9, 2025

I cannot express enough gratitude for your generosity in supporting our students’ coffee cart/café project. Because of your kindness, my students now have the materials they need to engage in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that will help them build essential life and vocational skills.

This project is more than just serving coffee—it’s about fostering independence, confidence, and communication. Your support empowers my students to develop real-world skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom. The joy and excitement on their faces as they set up their café, take orders, and interact with their community is truly priceless.

Thank you for believing in my students and their potential. Your generosity is making a lasting impact, and we are so lucky to have you as part of our journey.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Fracasse

  • Reusable Books and Materials

    Funded May 30, 2023

Thanks to you, my speech room received a new book maker, along with laminating sheets and reusable folders! These materials have helped us create reusable materials to use with our students and to decrease waste to help the planet. I have created many books, communication boards, tactile communication symbols and reorganized our entire room for more efficient and eco friendly materials!

In my speech sessions I use communication boards for many students who are unable to or not ready to use a communication device yet. With the book maker, I am able to create materials to expand their vocabulary, and have more access to books in a simplified version. Not only are these materials helpful to my students but to the earth, and its all thanks to you!”

  • iPad for Decreasing Waste!

    Funded May 10, 2023

Thanks to you, my students received a new communication device to further their language development and overall education! With the use of this iPad, I have created many lessons on answering WH questions, sequencing events, building vocabulary, working on requests, and overall teach children to use effective expressive language.

In my speech sessions I mostly use communication devices to aid in my students expressive language. With this iPad, I am able to expand their vocabulary to new items and add them to their devices. One student in particular is able to request preferred items now, when at the beginning of the year he had no verbal language at all, and that's all thanks to you!”

  • Accessible Assessments For Children With Autism

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your donations and kindness. Your donation helped me grow as a provider and receive helpful materials to have an accurate assessment to further grow the speech and language abilities of many students with disabilities.

My students also received many wonderful new toys and games to help them feel fully engaged in the speech session and maintain their focus. They mostly love the magnetic toy blocks and have created many imaginative creations!

We are so grateful for you again and I hope that you can continue to support us in our movement towards accessible and obtainable speech therapy for all children. Thank you again!”

  • Snacks and Clothes for Kids in Need

    Funded Feb 17, 2023

Thank you so much for your kind donation! My students now have access to clean, appropriate fitted clothes, bottles for water and snacks for the school day. We have created bins for each classroom to have for students that are in need to make sure each student is cared for. This will not only help them feel more comfortable but help them focus on their education rather then hunger and discomfort.

My students were ecstatic when they saw the snacks they could have! Many of my students were also so excited to have their own water bottles for their desk. Lastly, when my students come into my office they now have access to a sensory chair that helps them focus on the activity and grow their speech and language.

The next steps for my speech room is to create a friendly caring environment that allows my students to feel safe and have access to basic needs such as clothing and food. My next project is to create a small library to help them increase their reading skills, language skills and writing.

Thank you so much again for your kind donation!”

  • Sensory Toys for Students With Disabilities

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

My students and I are so grateful for your help! We are using all our fun new sensory toys to develop a more effective and rich language. My students immediately ran to the new materials (some even gasped and yelled) when they saw them, it was truly adorable!

The next steps for working with my students is to create effective and helpful schedules to make transitioning from the classroom to the therapy room easier. With the materials supplied it will help my students have a calming toy when transitioning.

Thank you again! We greatly appreciate you and your help!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Fracasse
