School Library

Thank you for contributing to the creation of a school library. It has been a massive success at my school. Having these books has begun creating a community of readers that stretches beyond just what goes on in my classroom. The students are especially enjoying contemporary young adult novels where they can see themselves on the page and can relate to the characters in the story.

Reading and literacy is such an important skill. Providing a place for students to partake in independent reading gives so much more power and choice to the students, while also expanding their knowledge and vocabulary. The library is a success because students are browsing it and enjoying the books that they find.”
