  • Incredible Bulletin Boards to Display Their Milestones!

    Funded Sep 19, 2023

At our school, more than 50% of students are Black, Latino, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households.

Before school starts, teachers are assigned different bulletin boards to create throughout the school. Creative bulletin boards make students feel proud to have their work displayed and lets them know they are cared for and that the work they produce matters.

When bulletin boards are interactive, interesting and organized, students can learn from them and appreciate the effort put in the bulletin board by them and the teacher putting them together.

In order to create the fun, educational bulletin boards, teachers need the supplies and the time to create the boards. But with the cost of simple bulletin board supplies, like letters, increasing each year, it's more difficult to create the fun bulletin boards.

For my project, I am asking for frames to set up a gorgeous and organized bulleting board to display my students hard work on the bulletin boards.

My students are curious, open-minded, inquisitive, tangible, and eager. Every personality makes every day worth coming to school because I know it will be a story or movie.

I teach Title I students from different economical backgrounds, including Special Ed students and English language Learners. They are a fun group to teach every day and I just want them to enjoy middle school by finding ways to provide them with scientific hands-on activities and games to make science more engaging.

thanks for making our project possible and my students proud.”

  • Science Hands-on Stations for Living Environments

    Funded Mar 11, 2023

Delta Education Nutshell Clusters are thematic class units comprised of activities and materials from 4-6 individual Nutshell titles packaged together in one convenient storage tote.

In our school, science lessons are classified into physical Science, earth science and life science.

These kits from Delta Education: Science in a Nutshell, allowed me to create multiple science stations for my class to explore the topics of life science from our curriculum, and these support our students in the preparation for the living environment regents.

Each Cluster includes materials for over 32 Activities that will allow me to support my students in their multiple learning styles.

I teach in a Title 1 School (Equity Focus) where most of our population is either ENL or SWD or both.

Thanks for your support! You helped make this possible!”

  • Bilingual Certificate for a STEM Bilingual Teacher

    Funded Apr 29, 2023

This course was the last one I needed to complete to meet the requirements for my Bilingual Certificate in the individual pathway certification program. This certification will further develop my teaching toolbox.

I'm a math and science teacher who plans around STEM and hands-on activities but sadly without this certification I couldn't teach the English Language Learners at my school and that's our biggest population.

This school year, thanks to this certification, I'm teaching a bilingual program. My students didn't have a math teacher for almost all last year, and I am happy to be able to fill that place in their education thanks to your help.”
