Cold Floors Are No Fun!
Funded Dec 11, 2011We would like to thank you for your donations to our classroom! The carpet you have purchased for us is an amazing resource which we use every day.
We begin our day on the carpet for calendar time! We love not having to squish into a small corner of the classroom! By giving us a carpet for our classroom we are able to learn more comfortably.
We REALLY appreciate your donation now that winter is here! Sitting on the cold time floor was no fun! Now that we have a carpet to sit on, we can spend much more time working on the floor.
Again, thank you SO much for your donations to our classroom! They make a huge difference in our everyday lives and you've made a positive impact on our education!

Funded Oct 12, 2010My students and I would like to once again thank you for your generous donations!
Last week we received two large boxes and my students were elated to discover our new class set of calculators and our new Math board games! We were immediately able to use the calculators in our classroom lessons, and what a difference they have made! My students are now making less needless mistakes and are finding success much more easily! They are always very excited to be able to use their new calculators, and think of your generous donations each time they use time.
We were also able to take some free time on Friday and play the new board games! They LOVED them! They were begging to continue playing, even though it was time to leave the classroom for lunch! They also opted to stay inside and have indoor recess (which NEVER happens!) and play the new educational games!
Again, we really truly want to thank you for your donations and the wonderful opportunities they have brought to our class!”

Help Me Teach My Students To Be Organized and Responsible!
Funded Oct 6, 2010We want to once again share our thanks for your donations to our Organization project!
Last week my students were at lunch and 2 GIANT boxes arrived with our Binders! We immediately opened up the packages and passed them out! We then talked about how they were going to keep us organized and how we would be using them for the rest of the school year to grow more responsible.
I have to say, in the week that has followed things have been so much better in our classroom! I no longer hear the excuse of "My homework is in my desk in my reading class" or "I don't know where my notes from yesterday went!"
I am impressed and amazed at how quickly my students have taken on the challenge of being responsible and organized, and I want to thank you again for your help in making that possible! ”
