I am trying to raise money that will go directly to the school's yearbook, Connections, School Improvement, Technology and Work Based Learning programs. Your generous donations will go towards the purchase of cameras that are needed to help produce the school's annual yearbook and capture classroom experiments . The cameras we currently have are dated point and shoot models that do not offer the quantity, quality and ability needed for instruction and practice, and to produce acceptable photos in a historical publication as important as the yearbook. The cameras we would like to purchase are: Canon EOS Rebel T6 DSLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Lens, EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Lens, W/ Total of 64 GB, Xpix Table top Tripod, FiberTique Cloth and Deluxe Accessory Bundle Canon PowerShot ELPH 180 Digital Camera w/ Image Stabilization and Smart AUTO Mode (Red) These cameras will serve the following purposes: 1. Allow for professional and rigorous training on semi-professional grade camera. 2. Provide quality images to the pages of the school yearbook. 3. Allow for yearbook students to take photographs in less than favorable lighting conditions. I can attest that having better equipment does make a difference in image quality. Many cameras can create good pictures. But, I want to see my students take their learning to the next level and really experience what photography has to offer.
