First Grade, Here We Come!
Funded Jun 10, 2021I want to thank you for your donations. I am able to have all my students participate now that they have been supplied with the resources needed to complete assignments. Every student feels included and have been able to share their work with their peers.
When I shared the great news with my students that they were getting crayons and pencils, they were so excited and faces lit up the cutest smiles. It warmed my heart seeing them so happy that they were going to be able to color their drawings, and write sentences with pencils.
We are now now practicing writing number sentences, story elements, and main idea of a story with the help of your donations I have been able to provide my students with the supplies they needed to achieve academic success.”
With gratitude,

Color Makes Learning Louder!

Since receiving our tablet cases and printer my students have been able to safely and properly utilize our classroom tablets to complete math and reading assignments. All of my students has access to zearn and I ready software programs to help increase math skills and reading comprehension. I am proud of the progress my students have made since receiving our materials they all have improved in reading and math with your help. Our colored printer has been so convenient since I am able to print colored pictures and class assignments as well as make copies right from the comfort of my classroom instead of going to the main office. My students are able to print their work and enjoy the fruits of their labor instantly.”

Funded Nov 11, 2018This project was created so that my class and I can get an easel for our classroom to help, make lessons engaging and interactive. I am able to display charts for lessons which cater to my student's visual needs. I've been able to make science, socials studies, reading, and math more engaging for my students, as they love using the easel to write sight words, addition, subtraction facts, and create diagrams. There has been an increase in participation since we've received our easel and so thankful for the improvement it has made within my classroom and presentation of lessons.
My students love the Malti-use of the easel as they are able to use dry erase markers or magnetic letters and numbers to complete their tasks. During center time some students act as though their teachers and use the easel to practice spelling sights words, drawing pictures to solve math equations, and writing sentences with their peers. I've noticed a significant improvement academically. It has been a great assistance in breaking my lessons into "I Do" (When I model the skills to be learned), We Do (Students work together to discuss and formulate their own strategies to complete the task required that I just modeled, by coming up to the easel), lastly the You Do (when students now take ownership of what I just modeled their peers modeled, and now put it altogether to do it on their own "this is where I assess whether they understood the learning objective). All of which I couldn't do without this easel.”
