Thank you so much for your donations that included stickers, bracelets, and other visuals. I found that something as simple as a sticker was an important way of engaging middle schoolers in topics about mental health. It is also something that they can wear or put on their water bottle which will remind them of what they learned as well as spread awareness. I saw multiple students collecting different colored bracelets, for each mental health topic, and wearing them throughout the year. When I held school-wide events during lunch time, I saw that student were eager to participate in learning and activities because they wanted to win a prize or bracelet. This is something I will continue to implement as it was successful with the population I work with. We are very grateful for your support!”
Thank you so much for your generous donation. I’m excited to begin this second semester with helpful incentives for the students I serve. Students in my small groups and those participating in mental health awareness activities will have the opportunity to practice and explore different coping skills using the items provided by your donation. Thank you!”

Thank you so much for your donation. This will directly impact students and help them thrive on a daily basis when they are experiencing hunger or need an extra boost of energy to get through the day. Although this may seem small, it is definitely an impactful contribution to our student population.”

Thank you so much for funding my project. My students have really enjoyed the variety of options they can choose from when they are in need of a calming space and activity. The two most popular items have been the magnetic tiles and the tent. All students, regardless of their age, find comfort from laying in the tent. Additionally, the magnetic tiles have been very helpful in allowing students to do a calming activity while discussing difficulties or struggles they are facing.
This funded project has really given students joy and relaxation and has been helpful in teaching students about different coping strategies.
I am so thankful for all your generosity. I am very excited to work with students and teach them how to use the materials such as coloring pages and fidgets to calm down and regulate their emotions. Additionally, when teaching SEL lessons in the classroom and during presentations, I will have exciting prizes that will encourage students to participate and reflect on their emotions and feelings. Thank you so much, you are truly making an impact on students.”

Thank you so much for providing me and the students I serve with the requested wish list items. I use many of these items on a day-to-day basis such as the laminator and SEL books. I have used my TeachersPayTeachers gift card to buy things such as positive and inspirational classroom posters (seen in the picture) and therapeutic worksheets. Other items, such as the "What would you do" game, are very useful in group activities and really engages the students. I am so grateful for all of your contributions.”

This is my 3rd year working as a social worker at a middle school. Due to limited funding, I do not have a budget to help me buy items that can be used to support my teaching of social and emotional skills. My wish list will offer the students a fun and helpful way of engaging with SEL activities and ultimately improve the overall school climate.
I will be meeting with students on an individual basis, in small groups, and I will be offering classroom presentations. All of these supplies can be used to facilitate learning and keep students engaged.
My goal this year is to facilitate MONTHLY mental health awareness campaigns that teach about various topics such as Suicide Awareness, Bullying Prevention, World Kindness Day, Black History Month, Sexual Assault Prevention, Mental Health Awareness Month, and Pride Month.
Thank you for stopping buy and supporting!
