Our math classroom is enjoyable to be in, but students need more flexibility in their learning environment so they can make choices that suit their learning styles and needs. Each student's needs vary from day to day and we are trying to provide them an area that is comfortable and accessible for their learning. Our students often need a moment to "chill out" and have a calm space to decrease their academic and social stress at school. While there is so much more we could add to the space, these bean bags and wobble chairs will be a huge step toward our goal.
