Please help me give my students reading materials to continue their distance learning during the summer. They will be able to enhance their reading skills. Students will be able to learn social emotional skills such as building relationships with friends and regulating emotions. Students will be able to engage in dramatic play by acting as their favorite characters. We will also be reading 1 story once a week on Zoom. My students will benefit tremendously from an online summer book club because they will continue to learn skills useful for the upcoming school year. I have done my best to provide them with essential and effective learning, but distance learning will continue to be different from being physically present in class. My students benefit from tactile and visuals, and having physical books at home will aide in their learning. My students are ultimate fans of Mo Willems' books, and reading his books will make it their best summer despite the currently circumstances.
