  • Special Education Teachers Pay Teachers Gift Card for Transition Skills

    Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom to specifically support our students with learning exceptionalities. We will be using the gift cards to purchase assignments and activities that will help our students with transition-to-adult-life skills. This includes education and employments skills as well.

    Each student with an IEP has goals for their transition-to-adult life areas of need. We will be using tools such as assessments, projects and guides from TeachersPayTeachers to support our students throughout this process.

  • Special Education Classroom Project Supplies

    Funded Sep 3, 2023

    For this project, I had a few ideas in mind for how the supplies would be used. So far, we have used the "Elmer's School Glue Sticks" for multiple projects. The students have used the fidgets in this order for use during testing as well as during regular class assignments. The timers have already been used in a number of ways, from time management to providing visuals during class assignments. The "Mr. Sketch Scented Markers" have been useful and fun as well! They bring in a little joy whenever markers are needed.

    Overall, these supplies and project have positively impacted the educational setting for students with disabilities, which was the goal! Thank you again so much for your generosity for our students.”
