  • A Fresh Start

    Funded Oct 8, 2024

Once again your generosity has left my class and I in awe. When the boxes of new goodies arrived my students excitement left me speechless. They were so excited to see we had new resources to use and prizes to earn. We can't wait to continue using these throughout the school year.

A favorite amongst myself is the binding machine. This allows us to create books that will include differentiated materials that will directly target my students needs. My students favorite was the new toys for our treasure chest!

    Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Drew

  • Learning to Play While Playing to Learn

    Funded Jan 30, 2024

Once again, I am left in awe at this communities generosity. Every time I am fortunate enough to have a Donors Choose project funded I am left in disbelief at how kind people can be.

The new toys arrived at our classroom and my students were SO excited! Engagement in lessons went up especially with math thanks to our new froggy balance beam. I couldn't believe how it brought what we were learning to life for my students and I.

The toys have also now allowed for students to begin working independently which is a huge success as most of my students require support for most work they complete.

Once gain, I am so thankful.”

  • Totally Teriffic Toys!

    Funded Aug 25, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom project. These toys have been a saving grace this school year! The students in my classroom all have special needs and these toys have been great for hands on learning, taking breaks, and engaging in social play!

My students were so excited when they realized what we had access to in our classroom and that's all because of you. Some favorites include the magnatiles and potato heads. I cannot begin to explain what an impact these resources have made in our classroom.

Once again your support is so appreciated.”

  • Miscellaneous Materials

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

Once again I am left in shock at how generous this community can be. Knowing that there are people out there who are willing to contribute anything they have to a classroom of students and teachers that they don't know is just so heartwarming.

Your contributions while used toward many important materials will be most celebrated when we receive our seat sacks. Our school only has tables and in order to build independence each student will have their own seat sack to store materials and supplies.

Thank you again for you all of your help!”

  • Taking Care Of Our Technology

    Funded Dec 22, 2022

Once again, my class was left in awe when seeing new materials arrive to our classroom. This time they were shocked when entering and beginning our day to find a new laptop lock box. Their smiles and surprise was so exciting!

What's most exciting about this product for me is that it has a power strip inside which allows my ipads to always be charged and ready for student use. This has been a huge benefit to ensure that the devices are ready to go when my students are.

Additionally, the lock on the front ensures our devices stay safe.

    We are so grateful!”

  • Back to Basics

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

I think my students think this community of donors is a bunch of magical fairies and I couldn't agree more! It always astounds me how every time I post a project, people are generous enough to fund it and support my students and I. We are so thankful.

My students were so excited when our new materials arrived in our room. They were most excited about the playdoh which we use for multisensory learning particularly during phonics. I was most excited about the multicultural crayons which we will use during writing to show accurate illustration of oursevles and others.

    We once again thank you!”

  • Spotting Our Emotions

    Funded Jun 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous contributions to funding this project. The materials that were provided will helped to build out our social emotional curriculum for the upcoming school year. What I love about this program is that it provided resources for identifying emotions, naming emotions, and what that might look like when we feel that way. It then goes on to share things we can do when we feel a certain way or when we feel a combination of emotions. The resources are all geared for children and show these in an easy and relatable way. I'm so excited to use this with my students.

Once again, your donations are so appreciated.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Drew

  • Beginner Books for Beginner Readers

    Funded Apr 7, 2022

Once again, I'm blown away by people's generosity. These books have now been added to our classroom library and the students are very excited!

I noticed their love for reading improving and growing every day. Most noticeably, students have been asking to take books without prompting when they complete tasks throughout the day! It's so nice to see that they are interested in reading!

The books you have contributed are a part of the books they grab for. The books are geared toward their reading level so that they have books they are capable of reading independently. They have patterns and sight words that make the books easy to read. Combining those with books of interest that were previously owned has created a well rounded library.

I cannot begin to describe how much I appreciate everyone's selflessness.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Drew
