Funded Oct 4, 2019Unfortunately our year was cut short because of Covid 19, but before that my students enjoyed our new centers. Learning through play is so important for children. They need to learn social skills and how to take turns. Things as adults we take advantage because we know the social norms. For students with autism, it does not come naturally. They have to be taught the norms and playing through games can help them. It helps students to not only master skills taught from a lesson but also have some fun as well. My students favorite game is the sight word fishing. To see their faces when I pulled out that game was priceless. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving my students these resources.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Culliford
