These award-winning books will be used by my kindergarten and 1st grade students. I plan on reading a different book to them every day of school. I also want to be able to promote reading at home which would mean having enough books for students to take them home to enjoy. I would never want to deny a child a book because reading allows them to experience new adventures, people, and ideas. These books will be on display in our classroom. We will dive into researching more about the author and illustrator. I hope these books will inspire my students to pursue reading more.
