8th Grade Math and Science!
Funded Oct 9, 2024THANK YOU to everyone who donated. I was surprised at how quickly we were able to reach this goal, and I will have the supplies for the students soon.
It feels great to know how much people in my broader community are here to support the community I am building in my classroom.”

Classroom Refill
Funded Nov 13, 2023Thank you so much for your generosity! You helped make my classroom into a community. I am able to supply students with pencils when they don't have them which makes all the difference in them being able to complete their math work and learn. I also was able to incentivize good behavior with snacks and prizes.
My classroom has become a place where students can rely on having the things they need in order to be successful. This foundation of supplies allows us to learn and have fun in the classroom. Glue sticks and markers allow me to transform the curriculum lessons into engaging activities. I appreciate your support in this work!”

More Supplies for Ms. Cav's Classroom
Funded Aug 9, 2023Thank you so much for your generosity in helping me get supplies for my classroom. I was able to get my room ready for the start to the year and create a welcoming environment for the students. My students have even said that they like being in my room, which was my goal!
I've also been able to equip them with the supplies they need to be successful when they are not able to bring supplies from home. For example, I keep a cabinet of extra folders, notebooks, and paper and can give them to students when they need them. I was also able to stock my classroom library with young adult books for students to read when they are done their work, including books like The Hunger Games in Spanish!
I've also -- miraculously! -- been able to keep myself organized in order to be prepared to teach each lesson. This especially has only been possible with the help of tools that you donated so that I could get. For example, a paper organizer where I put my copies for the week, a rolling cart where I put supplies like markers, scissors, and glue, and an endless supply of sticky notes so that I can remember everything!”
