Students engaged in market research by asking various members of the school what prices should be to gauge the best price for these products. Students as a group decided what they would like to spend the money on. They researched possible team-building trips because they felt that team-building would be something that they would enjoy. • Indoor Workouts Both Mentally & Physically

  Thank you so much for helping to make my club more lively. The exercise dice has been really fun to use. Students love all the different combinations that can occur; these exercise dice have really changed how we warm up. In fact, I have also used it with my smaller reading club to get us moving and not always sitting. Students are so excited to work on the diamond art, they love the mindful practice it takes to start the process and to see their step by step hard work turn into a magical art piece. Of course, the snacks are always welcome and students love being able to have a snack at the end of practice. In fact, during our cool down sessions students are already gearing up for their snack of choice. Thank you so much for the ability to provide such a variety of options for my students.”

• Physical Development = Professional Development

  Thank you so much. These resources have truly made a difference in so many aspects of my life. The watch has been extremely helpful in pushing me to be more aware of my movements throughout the day. It has also been helpful in tracking distances when my track team and I go out for runs around the neighborhood.

  Having the books have been great because it is giving me tools that I can use to plan mindfulness lessons for my students. I know how important it is for students to practice mindful breathing and having these resources is allowing me the opportunity to make sure that I am presenting information with clarity and thoughtfulness.”

• Switching to STEAM

  WOW! That's the reaction I received from my club when they found out that they now had access to all these awesome games that encompass fitness, and fun. These games have been a great addition to the track club when the weather has been too icy to go out. Students love being able to practice their form while boxing, they love dancing and singing along to Just Dance, they really enjoy the gaming and fitness element to Ring Fit Adventure, and they truly enjoy the competitive nature of the carnival games. Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to engage my students with such entertaining and highly engaging resources.”

• Fueling Our Mind and Body

  Thank you so much for the much needed snacks, ribbons, and mats. My students love the variety of having a choice of snack after our Wednesday runs. They are enjoying the different competitive aspects which are pushing them to run faster or be more thoughtful teammates to one another so that they can earn a ribbon. In general, they are pushing themselves to set goals and meet those goals; having these materials has made this work possible.

  I am noticing that this goal setting and desire to be better is also translating to students pushing themselves with the work they are doing in their classes. This is especially apparent when my students have a free write opportunity and are writing about how much they enjoy running, running with their friends, and pushing themselves to do more than they first thought possible.   We are so excited to create and transform our ideas into reality. Students are already looking up tutorials and are exploring different ways to bring their designs to life. We are so thankful to have this opportunity to do things differently and to be creative. The thoughtfulness that my students are showing in terms of slogans and different images that they plan on creating truly shows how connected they are to current issues.
