A Creative Touch
Funded Feb 10, 2022Thank you so much for the Cricut Maker 3 DIY Machine and supplies. My students were so excited to see all the wonderful things that the Cricut Maker 3 could do. I was able to put up exciting bulletin boards for my class and others to enjoy. I even won the "Best Board" contest. This is an extremely special gift because the Cricut Maker 3 will allow me to create boards and crafts for years to come in my classroom. As I prepare to start the year my Cricut Maker 3 is enabling me to create many materials that I would normally have to buy. I can't say thank you enough for supporting my classroom.”

Funded Dec 1, 2021Reading in the classroom is truly a magical time for my students. Books can take them places without traffic, airports, or passports. There are so many amazing things to read about. Having books on a variety of levels makes it possible for each child to be successful at reading. No matter how high or how low they are, there is a book just for them. My lower readers are often intimidated because they can't handle the higher-level books. The leveled library allows all my readers to have a book on their independent reading level. Students are more willing to participate in reading when they can actually read the text on their own.
By sponsoring my class you have made a tremendous impact. Many times, I don't want my classroom and students to go without, but it often jeopardizes my own personal family because of our low salaries. You made it possible for me not to make that choice. I want the best for both and donors like you truly have made my classroom dreams come true. I can't say thank you enough!”

Funded Sep 22, 2021Thank you so much for donating to my classroom. Your contributions have made a tremendous impact on me and my students. My students were so excited to know that total strangers did something nice for our classroom. Many times it's extremely hard to get supplies that we need in the classroom. As teachers, we are often forced to spend our own funds or just go without. You have truly made my students and myself very happy.
I have been able to create wonderful bulletin boards with the paper you donated. Once again Thank you!”

Funded Jul 30, 2021Thank you so much for donating to our classroom. This has helped my classroom so much. Students have been working so hard to be rewarded. In my class, I do "Pencil Wars". Pencils Wars is simple. Each student gets 5 sharpened pencils and 1 pink eraser inside their pencil pouch. On Fridays, I check that all pencils and the eraser is inside the pencil pouch. If they all everything inside the pouch then, I leave a small reward inside. This encourages students to be responsible for keeping up with supplies. Each and every week my students are excited to look inside their pouches, to see if there is a reward waiting for them. You have made it possible for students to get rewards.
Our stuff animal mascots are a big hit in my class. Students work very hard to earn an opportunity to get a chance to hold our class mascots. Our classroom behavior is a true reflection on the structure that you help to make possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Funded Jun 7, 2021Having an engaging classroom is extremely important. Students are more likely to listen and want to be an active participant in learning when they are actively engaged in the process. Students are eager for each lesson because there is also something exciting to do and see. Learning comes to life and real word connections are made. Thank you for allowing me to bring an exciting learning experience to students in my classroom. You provided materials for students in my classroom to be successful.Focusing on positive behavior is an essential component in my classroom. Students who show excellent behavior can now take a trip to a treasure box full of goodies because of donors like you. I don’t know about you, but as a kid the treasure box was a moment that meant the world to me. I wanted everyone to see what I got for being an excellent student. This is the same feeling students in my class will feel. Even if they haven’t mastered the standards yet, they can still be rewarded for excellent behavior. This motivates others who are not displaying positive behavior to change their actions, so they too can take that magical walk to the treasure box. Donors…you did it! You made those magical walks to the treasure box come true!
I'm so thankful for donors like you, that care about helping teachers help students in the classroom. As teachers we pour out so much of our personal funds. We want to do more, but many of us are single parents ourselves and just don’t have it. We feel that our students and schools are overlooked because of financial status, but you have proved that wrong. My students and I are grateful for everything you have done. Thank you so much”

Making Positive Steps!
Funded Apr 7, 2020Having materials up and ready for students is extremely important in my classroom. The stress of providing materials for students can be overwhelming. Many parents don't have the funds. No student should go without because their parents can't afford school supplies. You provided the materials for students in my classroom to be successful.

In our classroom, students are required to use computers each and every day. With over 20 students using the computer at the same time, things can get overwhelming. While one group is using computers, another group is with the teacher, having small group instruction. Using headphones is a lifesaver in our classroom. Students who are learning on the computer can hear what is going on without distractions from other students on computers. Students who are having small group instruction with the teacher are not distracted by students using the computers. We all win! The donation of headphones has truly helped my students. Many times, parents just are unable to provide, but thankfully donors like you stepped up.
