• Books, Books, Books!

  Thank you so much for your generosity. I have another amazing group of students this year, and they are really enjoying the resources you have provided.

  We can never get enough books. Some of the students have read several of the books already. The Oregon Battle of the Books packets just went out for this year's competition, and your donations have provided more copies of the books for our students to use. The books will be ready many times between now and March of next year.

• Games, Whiteboards, Markers, and Protractors for Room 19

  Thank you so much! Our entire fourth and fifth grade team has used the Sussed card games to help students get to know each other better. The questions are so fun for the kids to answer. We also used our whiteboards and markers to give our answers to the Sussed questions. I wish you could have seen all the kids holding up their whiteboards with their answers. It was a highlight of the beginning of the year. We will probably get the game out again to get to know each other even better.

  The thin dry erase markers are ideal for writing on the small whiteboards.”

• New Books and Supplies for the New Year!

  Thank you for helping us to have the supplies we need to have a successful school year. The kids use the pencils each day! They love going to the whiteboard to do work in front of the class. We also use the whiteboard markers for use on individual whiteboards. Using the markers is very inviting for many students.

  We are also really enjoying the games. They provide another activity for our indoor recess.

  The Command Strips have made our headphone storage work so well. I am so happy with this system. For the first time, we are able to keep track of all of our headphones.”

• Organizing Our Room!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations. We have such a great system for storing and charging student Chromebooks. Our school district did not provide us any resources for this, so your donations made it all possible. The students are so great about plugging in their Chromebooks and keeping the area organized. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this!!

  The extra copies of the survival handbook are also much appreciated. It was an expensive book. The students love reading about how they can survive in the wild if they need to.”

• Books for Oregon Battle of the Books 2024

  Thank you so much. Our school has been doing Oregon Battle of the Books for several years now. Our students love it so much. Your generous donations helped us to have 2-4 copies of each book for our room.

  The students are reading the books as I write this note. You are helping to create wonderful memories for an amazing, deserving group of students. Some of the kids have already read 4 or 5 of the 16 titles. They will probably read some of the books more than once.

  The books will remain in our classroom library for many students to enjoy even when the event is over.”

• Chairs, Stools, and Books for Our Room!

  I am so grateful for your generous donations. The chairs, stools, books, etc. are used daily. It is so great to not have to worry about students not being able to move their chairs or put them on the top of their desks at the end of the day. The chairs we had before were so heavy and were not sized for 9, 10, and 11 year old students. The students use the stools to sit around the room when they are working with a partner away from their desks. It is so handy to have them use the set of stools in this way.”

• Books, Games, and Other Things

  The items have really improved our classroom. We are much better organized, and have more options for inside recess. We didn't have too many inside days this past winter, but when we did, your donations made them much more fun.

  All of the games have been played multiple times. The kiddos have done an excellent job of taking care of all of the pieces. They have especially enjoyed playing the game of Life, one I also enjoyed as a child. It's so much fun to watch them enjoying the games.
