Our classroom needs 5 Kindle Fire Tablets so that students can experience reading and listening to reading electronically. Students need to see print in all forms, and one form they will see often in their life is through technology. These Kindle Fires will help my students see reading in a new light, and on a new screen. Seeing reading as part of something they use every day will really help bring it to life even more. Being able to listen to reading on tablets is a great feature that can help a student's fluency and comprehension. Using these in small groups will help students individually.
