• Hungry Kiddos Can't Focus!

  We have been busy in our classroom putting all the snacks you have graciously donated to us! My students are loving that they can rely on me to give them extra snacks when we are on field trips, as well as earning extra special treats with their good behavior points. For my extra picky eaters, I have been able to put together healthy and delicious lunch alternatives when they don't have lunches from home, making everybody's day go smoother and helping hungry kiddos get what they need to grow and learn for the rest of the day. • Flexible Seating for Flexible Education

  I cannot express to you how much these seating options have helped my students already, and they only came in this week! We had very limited options for seating in the past, thus leading to fights and arguments over who got what chair on what day. Now we almost have enough for every single student, and it is a GAME. CHANGER. No more arguments or fights, no schedule for each class each day- everybody gets a chance to have one every day! Thank you again, for supporting teachers and students, and for giving me the chance to offer more flexible choices to my extra special students.”

• Cool Kiddos Need After School Clubs!

  The resources you helped me purchase for my classroom have gone into full effect over the past few months! The puzzles have helped me create safe spaces for our students to sit and calm down with an easy activity, as well as opened the doors to have conversations with them about who they are, where they come from, and the issues they deal with.

  Having open and honest conversations with our students have allowed us to know and understand them better, as well as giving them the chance to know and understand their teachers better. All the way around, it has lead to a more open, safe learning community for all.”

• We Love to Color!

  Thank you so much for donating to our classroom and providing us with new coloring materials and supplies! We have already started putting them to good use, coloring decorations for valentines day, animals for a research project, and our Black History Museum projects! I cannot express to you how many coloring utensils we go through in a week, let alone an entire year, and your donations have made being creative kiddos so much easier. • Help Us Identify Our Emotions!

  These books have become a HIT in my classroom. Ever since we got them we have been reading 1 or 2 a week to introduce the different Emotions and Feelings that kids go through each and every day. I cannot tell you what it feels like to see a student in the middle of a tantrum slow himself down and use one of the breathing strategies these books have taught us to regulate our emotions.
