Funded Oct 22, 2020This year has been nothing short of challenging. It seems that every week our lives change as students and as teachers. It is February 2021 and I have only met my culinary arts students when they pick up groceries from me at school in order to do an at home cooking lab. I greatly miss the personal connections from years past and I greatly miss students walking into my classroom every day. We are still conducting this school year remotely. A bright spot of first semester was the day I showed students the newly installed bulletin board, the chef aprons, the laminator, and the many items generously donated for them to use once we come back into the building. Students were shocked that strangers can be so generous and they were the lucky group to receive such amazing items. Sincerely, I want to thank each and every one of you on my students' behalf. They deserve the world and I am grateful that your generosity will help my classroom run safe and smoothly next year.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Bay
