• Hungry Hungry Kiddos

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to our second grade classroom! The students were VERY excited when we opened the Donors Choose boxes!

  Students have been eating their hardy healthy snacks during the day. Students can now be independent and get something to eat when they are hungry. Students have shown improvement in the classroom both academically and socially!

• Becoming More Emotionally Aware

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom! The kids were so excited when we got the package in the mail. Students loved reading "The Little Spot of Feelings" series as a class. I hung up the visual poster and students were starting to identify and communicate their feelings.

  The tapestry is hung up in our reading corner and helps create a calming environment. Students live to go there and relax while reading a book or working on their iPads.

• New Books for a New Year

  Thank you so much for donating books to our classroom! Students LOVED opening the boxes and pulling out different book titles. They were so excited to learn about different topics and explore more books about the Titanic. The students in my class loved to learn about the Titanic, they were so excited to read about it from different perspectives of the books.

  These books were sent home with kids to continue their learning. The books will help reinforce the reading skills we are practicing in class.

  Students have been using these flexible seats during their daily instruction. Students are able to use the stools either at the small group table or at their individual desks. Both places have a positive impact on their learning.

  Students are able to wiggle and move their bodies in a safe way. They are able to get out some of their jitters/energy while in class.

  These stools have made a big impact in my classroom, I can not thank you enough!”

• Learning Through Play

  Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom. It means so much to my classroom and our community of learners. My students were so excited to open the boxes full of educational games!

  I was able to start adding the math games into our math rotations immediately. The students enjoy playing the games, which helps reinforce what I am teaching during the lessons.

  My students also use spelling games during their independent time and indoor recess. I love it when my students reach for a spelling game over their tablets!”

• Help Us Get Into Gear and Engineer!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students have LOVED using all the materials. As soon as we opened the boxes they wanted to start tinkering with the supplies.

  The building tools really helped my students understand our unit on structure. They use these tools during indoor recess, STEM time, and free choice. I love watching them collaborate and problem solve. This is such a great tool for my ELL students to improve their communication skills with their peers while hanging fun!
