  • iPADS for STEM KINDERGARTENERS

    Thank you so much for your donations!! This will help our scholars achieve their goals. From learning how to read, working on different stem projects and meeting the goals, we are even closer now to fully funding our classroom with enough iPads for each student!   • Guided Reading Development and Resources for Students and Teacher

    Thank you for your donations. My students have been able to improve their reading skills so much this year.

    As special education trying to engage students in reading can be a bit of a challenge, especially for my SPED students who have I have seen struggle the most.

    As the year progressed, my students developed a love for reading. Their letter and letter sound knowledge had shown so much improvement as well.

    We want to thank you once again for gifting us the love of reading! With this donations they now have a strong foundation.”

    My students were extremely excited when they saw all the wonderful things they received from Donors Choose. They couldn't wait to their hands on them!

    We use these materials in a variety of ways. Such as, small/ large group instruction, enrichment, working on student IEP goals, and has allow our students to simply enjoy some fun downtime after completing assignments.

    The play doh tools have been a hit from the beginning and they are still will loved and used to this day!

    Having these new materials in the classroom, I have seen an increase their sense of independence and their interests have expanded.

This project will provide a wide variety of seating options for my students on the Autism Spectrum. These students need flexibility in how they choose to sit and focus on the tasks at hand. Our students have many needs ranging from sensory to mobile availability. They require extra support and care to make sure their essentials are met and they feel secure and comfortable. Having options like these for my students will help meet their sensory needs and allow them breaks throughout the day when needed. Students will have the opportunity to explore and find their seating of choice throughout the day. Along with a sensory table that will be filled with different sensory materials to be used a break time/reward option for my students.

About my class
