Let's Vlog About It!
Funded Jul 20, 2021It is with utmost joy that I share with you how the items my class received from your generous donations made a huge impact in our learning experience.
With the innovative and interactive gadgets that we received, my classes were able to explore their creativity in creating multimedia presentations for a variety of topics that we had. The classes were divided into several groups and were scheduled to try and utilize the gadgets as they create videos for their the unit topics discussed in class.
The most exciting part of the experience was getting to know the gadgets. As students explored every button and the features of the gadgets, they were so astonished and amazed at how a very small and simple gadget can have so many capabilities in recording and storing videos. Editing was also something else. After the videos were created, students explored another skill which was video editing where they put together several clips to convey the message of their multimedia presentations. After the presentations, the groups had a little sharing on how everyone worked with the tools and how it helped them present their ideas in a more visual and creative manner. One student even shared that she has not touched something like that before and was so amazed how one small gadget could be so useful and handy at the same time. She was also glad to have experienced using it for class.
Hearing this and the many more positive reactions from my class does not only make my heart melt but also make me want to find more ways to make fun learning for them. Thank you so much for making this possible for my students and to the many more whose lives you have changed and hearts you have touched.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Moore

Funded Mar 29, 2021My heart is filled with gratefulness for your generosity. I am very much excited to share the wonderful gift that I just got with my students. I feel more confident now that I will be able to provide my students with the learning that they need no matter the distance and no matter what circumstances we are in.
In my school, a lot of the students are not acquainted with using a laptop yet so when I showed them the gadget, they were just so curious and excited to try it out and create presentations. We were also able to watch videos in class related to the topics we were working on like, "Romeo and Juliet" and "To Kill A Mockingbird" at high-speed and great quality.
Opening the eyes of a child to new and exciting possibilities is my ultimate passion as a teacher. I believe that if we believe in them , they will also believe in themselves.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Moore
