  • JBA JV Cheerleading Uniform Fundraiser Pt. 3

    Our JBA JV Cheerleaders and myself are SO grateful to each of you for your generous donations! With your support, I am striving as a coach to inspire the next generation of cheerleaders. Not only are our scholars passionate about the sport, but they are also learning the importance of teamwork, charity, and dedication. Each donation has been used to provide each cheerleader with a pair of sneakers, which has supported them in learning how to stunt, tumble, jump, cheer, and dance safely. We are so excited for you all to continue following us on our cheerleading journey for years to come.

  • Let's Fundraise for our JBA Junior Varsity 2024-25 Cheerleaders!

    From the bottom of our hearts, thank you SO much for every donation, share, and comment towards helping us reach our goal! With your support, we were able to fully fund each cheerleader's uniform so that we can spread school spirit around our community. Our JBA cheerleaders not only strive to make a positive impact on those around us, but also to become the best versions of themselves.

    As the school year continues, we cannot wait to continue spreading positivity and cheer. We plan to cheer for our basketball, soccer, volleyball, and other sports teams, as well as upcoming spring events taking place at JBA. Stay tuned to see the great things our team continues to do!

  • JBA JV Cheerleading Sneakers Fundraiser

    Funded Feb 12, 2024

    Thank you SO much for all of the love that you have shown towards our cheerleaders! Thanks to your contributions, we were able to supply each cheerleader with sneakers to help them learn the basics of stunting and tumbling. With these sneakers, our scholars feel more confident in their skills and are eager to learn new skills each week at practice.

    Back in March, we were able to debut out cheerleading sneakers for the first time at our school's after-school showcase event. There, we were able to perform a routine that we had been practicing for over a month to show our peers, parents, and community members. Our sneakers helped to make our performance a HUGE success as our cheerleaders were able to perform their stunts and dance moves with ease.

    As we move forward into our new cheer season this upcoming fall, we will continue to make strides in bringing the community together, one cheer, dance, and stunt at a time. Thank you so much again Donor's Choose community! LET'S GO JAGUARS!!!”

    We cannot begin to thank you all enough for your support and for believing in our team. Since receiving our uniform pieces, the JBA JV Cheerleading Team has cultivated spirit in our community through school-wide performances, "Cheerleading Mondays", and participating in various community events. Our cheerleaders are very passionate about making a difference in the community, and our uniforms have made an impact in making our voices heard. Our goal is to continue to uplift the Bronx through volunteer service, cheering at school games, and bringing spirit everywhere we go.
