Let’s Go Bilingual!
Funded Nov 21, 2021We are ever so grateful of the donations you have made to our classroom and community. With the use of the bilingual dictionaries, my students are able to find words that they didn't know and write them down for their Chinese Writing. With the bilingual books, my students will be able to read the characters with the help of the English text. My students are also able to play traditional Chinese games that their families and ancestors once played when they were my students' age. My students really appreciate all the products given to them as they most likely would have a difficult time of using these products at home. They can now use them at school. We are extremely thankful once again.”

See Me Learn Safely in School
Funded Mar 31, 2021Since the pandemic started, families have been extremely hesitant about sending their children back to in-person learning. However, your contributions to having the safety shields in place in the classroom for each individual student has been a life saver. As they first walked into my classroom on the first of school, they were able to set their mind at ease and thrilled to know that they can concentrate on their learning. Thank you so much for supporting our students and families. You are a truly blessing in disguise.
Thank you ever so much!”

Funded Oct 23, 2020Thank you so much for donating the wonderful and much needed air purifiers along with the necessary filters to my students and classroom. When we return to school, it will definitely be put to great use on a daily basis.
When students are sitting in their designated areas, they will be able to feel the purity of air from the purifier.
Another area of great thanks is for the generous donations of chart paper. Though technology is a plus, nothing beats the interaction of jotting notes down immediately from students during class discussions. This resources will be a backdrop to the creating color to our classroom. We deeply appreciate it. Thank you!”

Funded Dec 14, 2018Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students and I are ever so grateful with the resources that we have received. My students cannot stop going to these resources on a daily basis. They would even give up their recess time to learn different strategies on how to out beat their competitors.
When my students saw the boxes of new resources, they couldn't help but want to open it immediately. Once we opened the box, we were super excited about all the resources we had to begin and continue our learning. With the dice collection, students were able to gain enrichment from the different types of math games students could play and practice their basic math fact skills. They were also able to achieve a wide variety of strategies to help them with future activities.
Our class is ecstatic with the multiple choices they have now to learn with with. Both the games Blokus and Master Mind is enabling my students on how to think creatively and it has helped them make great gains in their academics as well. Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts.”

Funded Nov 6, 2017How does it feel when you're reading a book and you come across a word that you just cannot decipher or understand the meaning to? Well, my students have these kinds of trouble and it hurts me to see them reading words in a book, but they just cannot understand the meaning of it. The awesome donation you so generously gave to my students is something no one else can imagine. My students come from many different places where some are from China and some are first born Chinese Americans with single-home families. We are primarily the first teachers they encounter before heading out to middle and high school.
My students enjoy reading more than writing. However, I have hopes that with these resources in their hands, they can take off with their imagination and begin to write wonderful stories. In class, we read many different genre of books. In fact, we have had sessions where students create their own alternative endings. Students now have the ability to use the thesauruses to add vivid words to liven up their own stories.
I have a student who loves to learn new words. He used to carry a pocket dictionary with him where ever he goes. Now, he leaves the new dictionary on his desk and looks at it with great big eyes whenever he has a chance to look up new words. His eyes just lights up knowing that he is filling his mind with new words.
Thank you so much for contributing to my class.”
