Funded Oct 21, 2021We have really appreciated your generous donation. As our school is in the process of becoming STEM certified we are beginning to engage in more hands on work that requires manipulation and critical thinking. Your donations have allowed students to explore new ideas and concepts, as well as connect their work to their day to day lives. The photos you have/will view is of one of the Global Challenges STEM kits. Students really enjoyed being able to get their hands dirty during the Oil Spill Challenge and were excited to solve a problem than many habitats often face. Again thank you for your contribution to our classroom!”

Funded Jul 25, 2019Thank you for donating to our wonderful classroom this year. Your contribution allowed for my students to participate in an engagement filled classroom environment. The students and I have especially found tremendous use of the dry erase clipboards that were donated. They allow students to move around the classroom and complete group work. They have also been very convenient during quick assessments of student learning. The students have used the classroom pouches to store their Plickers cards (digital assessment) at their groups. We have also used the classroom buzzers during review games like Jeopardy and Friend (Family) Feud.
Again we thank you so much for your contributions! We hope you have a wonderful holiday season and a great New Year.”

Funded Dec 18, 2017Thank you so much for the donations. Your kind heart and actions has allowed for much personal growth within our students. Your donations have a great help in building Social Emotional skills. Our students have a space in our classroom called the Chill Out Corner. This is where students spend time to for reflection. We have used many of the calming tools that we've asked for. Students often use the timer and stress balls to relax themselves. The books that we have used have also been a great addition, as they tie into many of our daily social emotional lessons and provide problem solving strategies for the students. Again we thank you for everything.”

Building Reading Tools (CREATE 2017)
Funded Dec 18, 2017The new supports for reading and language arts have been a great addition to our classroom. One item in which we are very thankful for, is our new laminating machine. We have used it to preserve student work and lesson materials. Our students have also received math and Language Arts workbooks that they use during morning work. Our magnetic pockets have been a great storage tool as it can easily attach to students' desks and are able to hold their assessment tools. Again we thank you for your donation to our classroom!”

Seating For All (CREATE 2017)
Funded Dec 18, 2017We are very thankful for the donations that you have made to our classroom. The students have enjoyed the implementation of our alternative seating and have been eager to use them since being brought in.
Being that we have such a large class size, this alternative seating has allowed the students to sit comfortably with each other in whole group settings. They've been able to easily use and move the stools around the classroom as work is being completed. We use the floor cushions during our small group work, as well as when students are independently reading.”

Spotlight on Reading (CREATE 2017)
Funded Oct 26, 2017My students and I are greatly appreciative of your donation to our classroom. The books and tablets that you've helped to donate have been very beneficial within our classroom. The students were very excited top receive these books, especially the book series sets. Many of the students have already completed some of these book series! We have also been utilizing the Amazon Fire Tablets throughout our days. They have been great tools in assessing and practicing skills. Students have also used them during their free time to read books and watch educational videos that align with the days lesson.
As a first year teacher, I didn't have the same number of resources as my peers. Without this help, my students wouldn't have had such amazing resources. This continues to build on their love of reading and learning.
Thank you again for everything!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Williams
