One of the most amazing parts of our school culture is the student advocacy that allows students to voice their interests and bring ideas to life. My students have requested a "cosmetology" club to pursue art in a way that interests them, and for some, will open a potential career path. In this club, students will learn the basics of applying makeup, styling hair, and designing nails. Students will study the various hair types, facial structures, and nail techniques by reading, watching videos, and demonstrating their understanding on models. Some of these models, as you will see, are included in the materials we desperately need to put our learning into practice. I am so excited to guide them through this unique learning opportunity that most school programs cannot offer. Please help us by donating some basic supplies my students will need to be able to actively participate in this club. We are so appreciative of anything and everything you can give!
