  • Incentives to Support Our Learning!

    Funded May 2, 2024

We would truly like to thank you for your support for the items that donated to our class. The students and I are very appreciated. We want to sincerely apologize for the delay of sending you this message. The items have been used and some of the items we are still using daily.

The students were very excited, and grateful once they saw the items. They asked where did it all come from. Working in a school were most of the students come from underprivileged areas or have little to nothing, they felt such a warm rapport. We thank you tremendously for the clocks, paper, and the rest of the supplies given!!! We hope that you could support our classroom again at a later date!”

  • Learning Is Fun!

    Funded Apr 20, 2022

All I can say right now is WOW! You all have made our learning dreams come true. These supplies have and will continue to motivate our students so much more! They already LOVE center time, the wonderful bins, paper, headphones, pencils, Math activities, and all the additional hands -on activities that's beneficial to them as they continue to learn daily. They were in AWWW! They continue to ask if they can take the pencils and headphones home to use with their assignments. I have to say, sure as long as you return them safely for daily use within the classroom. They are so appreciative as many don't have or couldn't afford these items. The parents are appreciative too. They have been blown away and truly thank you! With so much gratitude, we can't thank you enough!”

  • Resource Is SPED-Tastic!

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thank you dearly for your contribution! This couldn't have come at a better time! My students were mentioning that they needed more activity bins, glue sticks, pencils, etc. and during this time, as we are face-to-face in the building makes it hard for them to gain access to these supplies. I use the laminating sheets to create more hands-on center activities as I store them in the red bins. The students and I are able to utilize these resources daily. The students know where to go in the classroom to grab them. They came in handy. They enjoy them and they are more engaged from having these for their daily lessons and center activities. These supplies encourage them to continue completing their daily lessons even at home. Thank you so much! ”

  • My Personal COVID Storage

    Funded Jul 7, 2021

It is with great pleasure to say that these items came right on time! The students, admin and I were very happy and ecstatic to see and be able to utilize the items that were provided to us for our classroom. During this time in need, these items are very handy. The students use these every day for center work, daily work and to hold all of their belongings. They asked, "Where did these come from?!" Every day when they are able to grab a new activity from their crate (they call them their bear bins) they are happy and excited to begin their work and utilize all the resources that were provided to them from Donors Choose. We thank you so much!”

I work in a school and classroom full of students where every child is expected to have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the philosophy and Common Core State Standards. Students are eager to learn and are excited and thrilled by technology and hands on projects that's rich and meaningful. In order to provide my students with the right learning that's engaging and supportive, I will have to design a well thought out and effective lesson that will reach their attention and keep them focus. To do this, I must have the necessary tools, materials and resources to motivate critical thinking skills of all my students.
