This project is inspired by my student's desire to be more active throughout their school day. It is quite difficult for young children to sit still all day - my kindergartners can attest to this! Research has shown that students are more focused on their studies when their bodies and muscles are engaged as well. By providing my students with these various seating options, it will not only help engage them in learning but also help them adopt a healthy posture and build core muscles. I am confident that by giving my students an opportunity to engage both body and mind that great things can be achieved!
