Self-Care Easter Baskets
Funded Mar 24, 2025Thank you for supporting our project. You have provided period products for our upper grade students. The sanitary pads, underwear, facial sheet masks, and lip masks will be placed inside the large Easter Eggs to create Hygiene Easter Baskets for students to take over Spring Break. This is a fun way for these ladies to receive their hygiene packages. Tween girls have unique needs that can be both embarrassing and uncomfortable. The face and lip masks are an added treat for the girls. We appreciate your donation and look forward to sharing these Easter Kits with students.”

Funded Mar 24, 2025I have 19 of the most fabulous students in the world. They are super respectful, hard working, and enjoy coming to school every day. You have provided us with spa items that we can add to our prize box.
Daily, students have the opportunity to earn a smiley face for their good behavior. Students receiving a smiley face for each day of the week get to go to the prize box on Fridays. In our community students are often being raised by siblings because their parents are at work. It is a struggle for me to get homework back from students. Thus, I am using the prize box as an incentive. Students returning homework on Fridays will earn an extra prize or snack.
Thank you for funding our project. These spa items will motivate and reward my very disserving students.”

Funded Feb 27, 2025My students love these chairs! Our classroom dynamic has changed drastically since receiving these chairs. Having these different forms of seating allows my students to sit all over the room. They are not forced to sit at a table all day. These chairs also motivate my students. Some chairs we rotate daily, but others they have to earn. So students always work extra hard just for the opportunity to choose their seating before others. Finally, these chairs are more comfortable for the students. Most of the seating allows them to safely wobble and fidget while they are learning. Thank you for funding our project. We greatly appreciate you!”

Struggling Readers
Funded Feb 26, 2025Thank you for providing us with easy to read books. Whether it is at home or school, each student needs a collection of books that are simple enough for them to read independently.
Everyday we have reading centers. We spend an hour engaged in independent reading and writing activities. One activity students are required to partake in daily is reading to themselves. When books contain words too difficult to read, students end up just looking at the pictures. This is one important aspect of the books you have provided.
Thank you, again, for these books. My students enjoy learning and they are excited about these books.”

Keep Your Eyes on the Book
Funded Jan 28, 2025Thank you for providing us with Elkonin boxes, whisper phones, pencil grips, mesh bags, and reading tools. All of these items help us to read and write. We spend an hour on reading centers every day. While I am teaching a small group of students, the rest of the class is spread around the room engaged in independent reading, writing, and spelling activities. Students us the whisper phones to read to themselves. It allows them to hear their voice as they read. The reading tools help beginning readers track the words of a book. The materials you have provided will be color coded and compiled in the mesh zipper bag. These items will make small group reading fun!
Thank you for your donation. These materials will be an integral part of our reading centers.”

Funded Feb 5, 2025Thank you for funding our project. Third through fifth graders at our school can try out for the school basketball team. Our team is highly successful as they are former district champions. Currently there are not enough uniforms for the entire to team to all wear a jersey at the same time.
You have provided our basketball team with shooter shirts. These are shirts worn over jerseys while players are warming up. It keeps their muscles warm and allows players to be ready for the game.
We appreciate your donation!”
